Where would one post to ask if anyone wants to rp

The last board I was on had a holonet area (RP and absent section) where one could make a thread to invite others to rp with them, whether open or closed. I can't seem to find where to post that here.

Thanks all.. I thought that was for battles only, not open threads, although I was told I was allowed to join 1 epic battle is it? As well as enter 1 hostile board thread..., since my character is neutral. Still contemplating that venue.
