Just to explain on here quickly, but I might be a little inactive lately because of two things;
1. I have a raging cold coming out and I can barely blow my nose and see at the same time.
2. I just rescued a cat...
Think it's been abandoned and seems to be between 6 months to a year old, maximum. It got stuck near where I live, so I freed it and carried it away, thinking it would go home, but it simply just kept coming back.
So I've taken in, last night was extremely cold and it would have died if I didn't do something and I've spoken to the vets on how to intergrate a cat with a dog (I have a dog) and so I may be keeping it.
It's so tame... As far as I know, no-one in the area is claiming to miss a cat and plus, it's usually around this time of year that people throw out their unwanted "pet presents", because they don't look cute anymore. I'm gonna' take it vets, get it checked over, attempt to intergrate it with my dog (through a cage method) and hopefully, if all goes well, I'll keep it.
If not, the vets will be willing to take the cat off my hands. Worse case scenario wise.
So I may be a little preoccupied as such, because it's still very young and constantly wants attention. I'm also having to keep the cat locked in my bedroom, whilst I let it settle in and attempt to do the cage method of intergrating in a day or two's time. So hmm! Fingers crossed, things will go well. Don't see why it wouldn't, my dog is like a big baby and merely stared at the cat earlier when it escaped into the corridoor... Cat ran for it's life... Lol, dog just stood there blinking.
So it's more whether the cat can accept the dog, than the dog accepting the cat - maybe. Have to update you guys.
Anyway, if I keep it, what do you guys think of pet names for the cat? I've had a few thrown my way and I'm thinking "Ziggy!", because it's a black cat, with a ginger/bage pattern. Has big green eyes too. Very energetic as well, a little too energetic for me at the moment, I'm sitting here feeling like I'm stuck on a mary-go-round, being unwell.
So yeah... Thought I'd update you guys, if I seem to be inactive a little.
