Accepted. However, it wasn't quite long enough for Sergeant, so Corporal will have to do.

Name: Joshua Kennedy
Nationality: American
What Army will Your Character Serve Beneath?
UK, US or Soviet: US
Character History:
Joshua is a 6'2 tall and about 180 pounds. Joshua grew up in a rough neighborhood, didn't have any friends. At the age of sixteen he supported his family ever since his father left for work one morning and never returned. Struggling to make it through school, he barely made it through college. Afterward he signed up for the Army, ready to serve. He has a sharp demeanor and a warm heart, which allows him to connect with his men.
Military Rank: Sergeant
Writing Sample:
Puke, Maggot, Scumbag. Some of the names Joshua was given by his 'beloved' Drill Sergeant at that boot camp. It's funny, the worst he had to fear was making it home from the grocery store without dropping the eggs, now everywhere he turned, some crazy German was trying to gut him. He remembered the guy at the desk, and asked 'what's the deal with you guys?' He looked straight through Josh and said, "Deal? We're the army son, deal in lead." Joshua was deep in trouble now. His allied front line was out of site, and he was stuck at Jerry's door. He knew something had to happen, and he hoped it was a miracle. Joshua crept slowly into a nearby brush, and slowly walked back toward the American line. It was night, so couldn't be that hard. Along the way, he had a strange feeling deep in his gut, and quickly turned around with his gun held up. He looked furiously, but couldn't spot anyone. He started sweating, and nearly swallowed his tongue. He continued onward, but stopped at the voice of two Germans.
"Sieger, erhielten Sie alle mögliche Biskuite?"
"Ja keine für Sie zwar."
"Warum teilen Sie nicht mit Ihrem Freund?"
"Möglicherweise sollten Sie Ihr, eigenes Kaffeearschloch zu bilden beginnen."
The conversation continued for a minute or two until the patrol left. Joshua took this chance to run across the road. Again he had the feeling of being watched. Joshua slowly broke into a jog, then a run, and soon a sprint. He ran so fast he could barely see anything clearly. A small branch was laying across the floor, poor Joshua happened to trip over it. He got back up and took a few breaths. He once again heard the voice of someone, but this time it was English. "Hello," Joshua called, "is anyone there?"
