Character History:
Born on November 24 1922, Leinderman was a typical child, liking to give 'public speakings' and 'news reports' as a child. At school, he excelled at speaking in front the class. He was a remarkable student, teachers always thought him the best in class and used him as an example of proper behavior. Because of this, many students thought of him being a wimp, a teacher's pet, so Leinderman had to fight his way through school. Whenever he was caught by the teachers, which was not often, they overlooked it seeing as a 'slight slip of otherwise perfect behavior' which angered the other students even more.
When It came time for a career, it was obvious to Leinderman what he wanted to be. The second he had a chance, he went straight down to the news staton and applied for a job, where he was subjected to the 'true news of Germany'. In 1940, Leinderman, after broadcasting the success of Poland, Leinderman was inspired to join the military. So, at the age of 18, Leinderman joined the war under Germany's banner. There, in the fields of Europe, he discovered that the war was far different then the news reels really were, much, much worse.

"Must keep moving" Thought Leinderman as he crawled through the under brush "Just a little longer and I'm there." He was the lone survivor of a deadly ambush. He and his squad was scouring the forest for any remaining French soldiers when it happened. He was talking, laughing with his squad mates when ale of a sudden one a crack went off, and one of his squad members stopped in his tracks, looking at his chest, which was turning red with his blood, and dropped to the ground. The rest of his squad dived for cover, but it was too late, fire was coming for all directions. His squad was gunned down in short order, and he did the only thing he could do, run. He crashed throught a bush, suffering only minor cuts and kept on running. When he was a fair distace away, he opted for a more quite approach, and started to crawl on the ground.
"This is only my first combat deployment" he thought "an I'm already on the run for my life." He was certain that his attacker were trying to track him down, so when he heard the rustling of leaves, he assumed it was his pursuers, so he lay still. But he realized that the sound was coming from in front of him, then he spotted them. A full patrol of French men, coming straight for him. He readied his Karbiner for a fight thinking " If I die I'm taking as many of them as possible." He took up a firing position, and squeezed the trigger. The sound must have alerted both the patrol in front of him and behind him, but he didn't care, he would be dying for the Fuhrer.
The first man dropped, and the rest of his squad scrabbled for cover, but he dropped another unlucky French before they could. Suddenly, he heard the other patrol coming up behind him, so he turned to face his new enemy. Then it hit, he felt a bullet fly threw his left shoulder, then he saw his shoulder and arm turn dark red with blood. "So this is it" he thought, still firing his rifle with his right arm, but then he heard more gunshots. At first he thought that everybody was shooting at him at the same time, but wen his adversaries started falling, he realized he was wrong again. within a minute, all the French men were dead, then he heard German voices. He saw one of his own patrols come through the brush. He smiled, waved at them, then passed out.
