Anyone open to a thread with Gero? Not looking for any major plot lines or fast paced threads, just something interesting and flat based for a thread.

Most of you know Gero, but for those who don't:
- He's a simple soldier (SS-Sergeant) and apart of a very tactile and complicated unit within the Waffen-SS Das Reich.

- He despises officers and being ordered around, he very much believes in voicing his own opinion and doing what he feels best; both in and out of battle.

- Rough, unkempt and shoddy. His physical appearance displays a rough looking man, but beneath the hole ridden exterior, he’s quite the gentleman and fast-stead believer in fighting for the fatherland.

- Overall, he despises the war, wants to go home and would do anything for a bottle of schnapps.

Simple character really,
Open to anyone up for a role play (including officers) and any ideas for a plot, please leave them below. I have just opened a small thread with Gero, nothing special, but all the same a thread has been started for those who don’t mind a storyline and fancy posting straight away.

I think Blanchefleur and him would get along nicely.

Blanchefleur has quite the dislike of her country's German occupiers. If you read her bio, you'll see she worked as an undercover agent in the First World War, and sympathizes with the underground movement in France.

Blanchefleur's not the prettiest old bat around, and she has a tendency to be rude and obnoxious. Plus, she has a taste for alcohol.

Perhaps the two of them will get on well? May I ask who's character this is, by the way?
We could certainly see how things would gel between Gero and Blanche' I think it would be quite interesting. Any immediate storyline plots you have in mind for a thread?

Somewhat like Hautt, regarding the officer part.

I would do a thread, as I'm kind of short right now. Still have to make the starting post for Arbeit Macht Frei Pt III, and get Brennan to mod-mark my battle.

I haven't really had a lot of... exposure to other rp-ers here. Mostly just Erik and Otto, with the fun experience of getting stabbed by Heiko "Imacutchoo" Alkema and Felix Odegaard.

Here's a bit about Hautt:

- He's eccentric, in most aspects of his life. If he does something, he does his best to get it done right, and despises half-assed attempts even more than giving it all you can and failing. Double or nothing, Go for Broke!

- He takes pride in his physical appearance, aristocratic, mostly calm and very cold, like a cool winter morning after a blizzard.

- Clumsy, and often impulsive, he acts more on instinct and sudden urge than logic, though when he does think properly the result is usually good.

No immediate storylines at the moment. However, Blanchefleur's quests to find the perfect bottle of wine in wartime France can be enough to motivate anything — at least, in my mind.
