I'm not happy to disclose what special units or armour I'm bringing, but if you wish to rule out radiomen, then I can abide by that rule of yours for this battle.
First posts: Hostile or Neutral? Also, who will be moderating this battle? I think it's wise to reframe from starting the thread until we know of our moderator for the battle. Otherwise we could be stuck for numerous days waiting for someone to notice our battle to be modded.
Personally, I'd like someone who isn't a member of my division or the 3ID to moderate this battle, which I think only leaves Punk, possibly Heiko (trainee) and... Wait, that's it. Lol, nevermind then, I guess whomever shall be a moderator will do a fine job. Just wouldn't want to chance anyone favouring a side, for your sake and mine. A neutral verdict for instance. - Raf

I understand your hesitance to revealing what units you are bringing, so I will leave it at that and hope that it won't outclass mine too much.
About the moderator, I does not matter at all to me. I think all of them do a fine job, but Dan seems to be doing most of them and I think JT and PuNk do a fine job too. Strum also seems to be getting into the field again, so maybe we should ask him, but as you said, he is part of the 2nd SS.
And the introductory post shall be neutral, unless you object. It just allows us to ebb into the setting/feel of the battle a little better. Sound good?

Well, the way I see it, the battle format of what units you bring and their classes (special units, etc, etc) is a way of still keeping a small element of surprise. For all I know, you could be bringing twelve corporals to give me a bit of stick.
My tank will be operating in small spaces and my five infantry units is all that I have for any quiet or alternate assaults. The tank can't creep through buildings or even take cover (much). So like I said, it's the element of surprise and you already know I'm bringing a tank of some sort.
Yeah the staff do an awesome job and to be fair, I am happy with anyone moderating this.
Sure, neutral first posts is fine, how about starting positions? North/East/South/West. Who's advancing from where? - Raf

I will be advancing from the Northwest road, the one with white fencing on the sides. Axis will be somewhere in the Southwest, near the little patches of woodlands.

Sounds good to me! I think Strumfelder and Punk are moderating the least battles at the moment, so they probably can handle moderating this battle a lot easier than the other staff, I reckon.
Depends who's willing to moderate and who has the time for this thread, be a lot easier when Heiko, Erik and Rhys pass their tests. That's three brand-spanking new brains to pick from! - Raf
