Pre-Battle Options:[/b]
(You have one to two days to set the following)

• You must select (or purchase) seven men to command for this mission, it is highly advised you use your wits and select a variation of men with different expertise to perform within the squad. However the choice is entirely up to you as the commanding officer of this mission.
  
  To help you decide, I’ve supplied a quick run-down of men with expertise you should consider:

  ~ Heavy gunnery team
  ~ Sergeant/Corporal
  (men with combat experience, however, having more than one Sergeant in a squad based mission could cause feuds as to whom is in charge…)

The Mission:[/b]
You will be dropped into a clearing allocated nine miles into the woodlands, there is a medium level threat you may become ensnared within the trees during your drop, but time is essential and dropping you and your men within the outer limits of the woodlands will cost a valuable day’s trek to complete your objective.

You will be travelling light, with basic rations for three days (including emergency rations) and the essential gear for setting up camp should it be required. You are expected to infiltrate the enemy camp as soon as possible, giving you and your men an allotted time of 24hrs once dropped, to assess and infiltrate for the target.

You will be dropped at 0600hrs, with an expected trek of six to seven hours to reach your target (1200/1300hrs). You will then be given eighteen hours as to infiltrate and retrieve the target (0600hrs roughly), an escort will be awaiting with the provided coordinates given upon your map for extraction.

*This is just for storyline description, you won’t have to plan your route of entry or the likes, but you do have a window of 18hrs to utilize when the games begin - HINT HINT*

Okaaay, I have one question to ask. Did you purchase the flamethrower for your engineer unit? If so, then I suppose you wasted a few CP, considering I would've offered you the options to pimp-out your units with different weapons and equipment.

Looking at your mini-profile, you've spent all your funds and you've pimped them out yourself? Didn't you notice the thread where I offered Rhys different options to alternate his units? Seems like you've taken the liberty of doing both right now, before I've offered you the options.

So I guess my question is...
Have you spent all your funds already?

Yes sirree. I purchased the engineers flamethrower. You can take a look at the 3ID divisional thread so yes the engie comes with the flamethrower.

No need to pimp em out. I'm out of funds and I got flames. So I'm good.

Oookay, well, shame I'm unable to offer you the option of extra equipment or armoury, but to be fair, you didn't have the funds Rhys did.

This is where I give you one last shot to make any last alterations and a estimated figure on your survival rating currently.

Survival Rating: 5<10[/b][/color]
Don't be alarmed that it's less than five out of ten, I'm purely going on NPC statistics and a rough knowledge of what you're up against. This doesn't include your RP skills or fighting experience, so even a noobie in your shoes with the same line-up would get this rating.

I know you're a good combatant and you also know a few inside secrets, so you may do well. If you wish to change any units or equipment, please do so now.

You may also ask any questions prior or during the scenario within this thread, should you require help at any time. I'm not willing to give free advice, should you become stuck, so with every question I answer or hint I give you during your battle, your final prize fund will be decreased bit by bit with every helpful answer provided. So I would only use these life-line hints if you truly need them.

Otherwise, best of luck. Let me know if this is your final decision for a line-up and your scenario will be begin tomorrow (after 3am here, need to get going).

Yeah, I am ready to go. 5 out of 10 are good odds for me, I make it or I don't.

Alrighty your scenario will be up tomorrow, remember, I'm happy to supply hints or advice whenever you need it. Just remember that a small fraction of your final winnings, should you make it through, will be deminished with every hint, tip or piece of advice that I give.

Common questions you could ask during the battle, quick list:

- Can I retreat and how do I retreat?
- Where do I go now?
- I want to surrender, can I?
- I really need help, what should I do?
- I think I saw Chuck Norris, will he help me...!?

Just a brief run-down of possible questions you may ask, obviously, you could always ask your own unique questions during the scenario. Such as; Do the trucks work? Can I lock the doors!? Etc...

But remember, inspect objects or items and I will be reveal the answers to you free of charge, but inspecting stuff can also be dangerous or unpredictable. There's nothing like jumping in a truck, expecting it to work and there's no ruddy-engine inside the thing! More so, a sleeping Kraut in the backseat who'd have your throat in an instance...

So inspect and use caution. Everything within this scenario is realtime, so if you picked discarded your weapon and grabbed a Kraut's weapon, you will lose your current weapon and inherit whatever weapon you grabbed. Don't expect to throw equipment down and run out of the thread, expecting those units to have the armoury still when the battle finishes.

Whatever you find, carry or pick-up, you may keep. You can only carry one primary weapon and one side-arm to use for combat purposes, but you may attempt to carry any additional weaponry you find. Your fighting expertise will slackene however with the weight-gain and cumbersome items you carry, so it's wise to always swap your weapons, rather than clutter yourself with whatever you find.

Understand?
Yes this does mean that if you find a panzershreck, you may change your weapon and keep it. Assuming you make it out of the thread/battlefield with that weapon between your hands.
