Slowly Albrecht crept toward the bush with his k98k scoped rifle. Once getting into position he took aim through his Zeiss scope. He saw an American Sergeant motioning his men around. Albrecht slowly pulled the trigger. The American dropped with blood spraying out of his throat. He was hit before the crack of the rifle was heard. Albrecht knew he had brought down the American platoons morale. The unexperienced soldiers did not know what to do since their sergeant was now dead. Albrecht took out two more before the Americans could get to cover. They started blind firing the forest. The bullets were not even close to Albrecht's position. He grinned at how stupid the Americans were. He than had another American in his sights. This time he aimed for the chest. When he squeezed the trigger the American yelped and fell dead. Suddenly Albrecht saw an American Supply truck pull up near the barn the Americans had occupied. Six Americans jumped out the back of it. Albrecht fired toward one. It hit his head, which exploded from the power of the k98k scoped rifle. The men started to fire toward Albrecht's position.
Bullets whizzed by but never hit him. [/b]"Oh shit, i gotta high tail it out of here"[/b] Albrecht thought. He slowly crawled backwards away from his bush. He felt something touch his shoulder. He turned quickly with a Walther p38 pistol pulled. It was only one of his friends in his company. "Jesus, Hans do not creep up on me like that" Albrecht said. "alright, but lets get out of here before speaking any more, Ja?" Hans replied. Albrecht nodded and hopped up. He put his scoped k98k over his shoulder using his sling. Hans and Albrecht quickly darted back to the Batt. Field HQ. Albrecht explained that there was an American occupied barn about 3 km away.
The Battalions CO started gathering troops to go push the Americans back, One of which was Albrecht. Albrecht had to use an Machinepistole-40 for this operation. He did not mind using it but preferred his sniper rifle. Albrecht and 19 others crept to positions around the occupied barn. Ten of the men quickly charged the barn like complete idiots. They were immediately gunned down. Albrecht knew the sound of the weapon and quickly yelled "Browning 1919!". The rest of the small squad took cover. Americans ran out of the barn trying to get to the nearest cover. The German squad members jumped up and fired upon the running Americans. They all fell down either injured or dead. Only one American was injured and was rolling around screaming in agony.
One German could not take the screaming any longer and shot the American three times in the head with a G41 rifle. There was still six Americans int he barn left. Seven of the Germans charged the barn. Only three made it into the barn alive, due to the browning 1919 .30 cal. One German took a bullet to the main artery in his throat while entering the barn. The other two Germans chucked their Grenades up on the second story of the barn. The grenades exploded simultaneously, resulting in one of the Americans being blown into pieces. The rest of the German squad charged into the barn also. There was one American left, he was holding his hands in the air with his rifle by his feet. He reached for it and payed with his life. The remainder of the German squad made their way back to the field HQ.
The squad was welcomed back with nice hot coffee and a piece of hard bread. The coffee was good, but the bead was almost uneatable. It was as hard as an rock, and tasted like horse crap.
