What Army will Your Character Serve Beneath?
Nazi/German Army
Character History:
Hiraki was born in Japan under a wealthy family. He received top flight education and everything was given to him on a silver platter. One day his father came home with several men. Two of them were tied up, looking as though they had taken a beating. His father's hands were bloody and so were some of the other men's. He took them to the basement and Hiraki followed. There was a door Hiraki's father told him never told him to open. Loud noises often came from there but he never saw his father go in. Despite what his father said, he still followed further.
There was a dimly lit room where they tied up the two beaten men. Looking around, Hiraki saw mounds of cash and guns stacked high up. Confused about what all of it was he saw out of the corner of his eye his father pull out a hand gun. Words were muttered but he couldn't here them too well. All he heard clearly was the bang and the blood spray out of one of the men's heads. He closed his mouth to stop a scream and closed his eyes and waited for another bang. It came and he yelped. His father looked in Hiraki's direction and Hiraki ran out of fear.
His father yelled Hiraki but he was already out the door and down the street. He couldn't believe it was true. It wasn't possible. His father wasn't a killer! He went to stay with a few relatives for awhile, promising to never tell what he saw that day. After a few years he moved to Germany, hoping he could forget the incident. He heard of his father's death and joined the military, knowing there was nothing else he could do with his life
Military Rank:
Private
Writing Sample:
Hiraki was zipping up his pants when he saw his squad was already gone "Hey wait up!" He yelled. "I take a piss for five seconds and they're already gone" he muttered. Hiraki grabbed his gun and walked around yelling for his squad. No response. "I don't remember this place! Where's the bathroom I was just in?!" Panic began setting in. He looked around before seeing flags everywhere. American flags. He was behind enemy lines.
"Oh no" He whimpered. Quickly, he bolted for the woodland. He couldn't breathe or think. He was hearing with his eyes and seeing with his nose. The rest of his senses were dull. Gasping for breath he sat down and tried to think. He heard footsteps and clutched his rifle, aiming at where he heard the noises. He saw nothing. "It was nothing, I'm okay". It was getting dark. He tried walking through the forest as quietly as possible. At every noise he jumped and couldn't help but feel he was being followed. Eventually the noises started getting closer, so he began walking faster and faster, then jogging and before he knew it he was running as fast as he could. He tripped over a rock and felt something fall over him. It was another person!
They had an American flag on their arm but no weapon. He went to stab them in the chest with the bayonet attached to the end of his gun but stumbled and got their leg. He heard a yelp of pain and removed his knife but before he could stab again they kicked him, banging him against a tree. They went to tackle him but he hit them with the end if his rifle, knocking them down. He fired his gun just as they started to get up and saw the life leave their eyes. The sound of the shot must have waken him up because all too soon he knew where he was and headed for his camp.
