What Army will Your Character Serve Beneath?
Hitler youth
Character History:
Born on June 4th, 1929 by the name of Wolfrick Schenck to Johan and Gretchen Schenck. He has Blonde hair and Blue eyes. he stands about 6'0. He has a very good personality but when it comes to work he is serious. He is very very disciplined and Respectful. His dad was an alcoholic abusive man, and his Mother was a nice kind women who one night was beaten to death by his father. After that happened Wolfrick was sent to stay with his Aunt and Uncle in Berlin. Wolfrick had a old brother named Dieter. Dieter always looked out for Wolfrick and sometimes when Johan tried to beat Wolfrick for something Dieter would take the beating instead. When Wolfrick and Dieter were sent to liver with their aunt and uncle, Dieter got a job at a factory to help his aunt and uncle pay for the boys needs. Dieter and Wolfrick lived in Mannheim.
Dieter would always play with Wolfrick and his friends whenever they were bored. Wolfrick wasn't afraid of anything neither was Dieter. One time Dieter was washing the dishes and he heard a crashing noise. He quickly ran outside to see what it was and saw that is was Wolfrick. Wolfrick landed on his arm and it Fractured it. Dieter quickly grabbed Wolfrick and asked how this happened and why. Wolfrick explained that one of his friends dared him to jump off the roof of the house and he did. Dieter was really pissed off and found Wolfrick's friend Hans. Dieter grabbed Hans by his collar and told him if he dared his little brother to do anything like that ever again that Dieter would hurt him severely. Wolfrick heard this and watched this happen. Wolfrick was really astonished to see his brother stick up for him from a so called friend. Wolfrick felt proud to have Dieter as a brother. After getting his arm wrapped up and checked he told Dieter thank you and from there on out Wolfrick looked up to Dieter.
In 1936 Dieter signed up for the Wehrmacht and Wolfrick signed up for the Hitler Youth. Wolfrick only saw Dieter one more time after the two boys signed up for the military. Wolfrick was always depressed about losing contact with his brother but he never showed that he was depressed about it. After three years of training Dieter was a Scharführer. For showing his courage and dedication to the fatherland. Wolfrick was one of the best kids in his hitler youth regiment. After getting the rank of Scharführer Wolfrick starting training young lads to be good soldiers for the fatherland.
Writing Sample:
Wolfrick was taking count of his squad of boys when he noticed one was missing. He quickly started questioning his men. "Where the hell is Earnest? If i don't get answers and i find out one of you know where he is you will be shot also for treason!". The Boys cowered in fear a bit. Than one of the boys stepped up and said "Scharführer Sir, Earnest ran off into town where his grandmother lived, He told me before he left he couldn't handle the hitler youth any longer". Wolfrick looked to this young man and said "Thank you for stepping up and telling us the information, i will have Earnest picked up today by my Commanding Officer". The young boy rubbed the back of his neck and thought to himself. "gosh i hope Earnest will be alright".
Later that day Earnest was brought to Wolfrick. Wolfrick punched him a couple times and said " Why did you run like a coward? You dishonored your family! you know you could get killed for your traitorous actions?". Earnest started to sob. "I'm Sorry Sir, it won't happen again i promise!" Yelled Earnest. Wolfrick grabbed Earnest by the neck and brought him out of the barracks. There stood all of the boys from the regiment. There was a stake in the ground. Wolfrick and some men from the Wehrmacht tied Earnest up to the Stake. Than came a SS officer. Wolfrick stepped back saying to Earnest. "Sorry but you must be an example of what happens when you are a traitor". The SS men gagged Earnest's mouth and stepped away. The SS officer walked up next to Earnest and shouted to the other boys. "Traitors can not be accepted into the hitler youth or the rest of the military for instance, I am very sorry i have to do this but it must be done!". The SS officer took out his luger and placed it to Earnest's Temple. Earnest started screaming even with the Gag in his mouth. "Nein!", but it was too late what is done is done. The SS officer pulled the trigger of the P08 Parabellum Luger. Earnest's head imploded brain matter bone and blood flew everywhere. A lot of the boys started to sob and some even started to Vomit.
Wolfrick just looked to this all going on. It did not bother him that Earnest had been killed. Wolfrick kept telling himself. "It had to be done to teach the others not to run and that Treason is not an option". Later that night Wolfrick thought of all that had happened that day. He thought of what the letter that Earnest's parents would receive would say. He thought of how his parents would feel knowing their son was dead. Wolfrick sat in his Quarters for a couple hours thinking of this. He than thought of how his brother Dieter was or where he was. The next morning Wolfrick was doing a head count on all of his men. All seemed to be there this time. He nodded to the boys. "You boys are becoming Young Men who will one day Serve the Führer proudly. I am very happy to serve with you fine young men, I am sorry about what happened yesterday but it had to be done. Earnest committed a crime to the Fatherland". The boys nodded to Wolfrick. "Carry on Men", Wolfrick than walked back to his Quarters. He sat down and started doing paper work.
Two weeks later Wolfrick received a letter telling him he had a Three day leave and he would be seeing his brother Dieter. Wolfrick smiled and started jumping around with joy a bit. Than he got another letter but this one not such good news. The letter explained that Wolfrick's Aunt had perished from a heart attack. Wolfrick sat on his bed holding the letter and weeping. He sobbed for a while. After sobbing Wolfrick got up and started packing a couple of his things to bring home. The next morning Wolfrick was on his way back to his hometown of Mannheim. After a few hours of being driven they arrived to Mannheim. Wolfrick was over joyed to be home but not on the occasion.
