What Army will Your Character Serve Beneath?
Nazi/German Army
Character History:As a young boy Freidrich dreamed of becoming a skilled warrior.His mother always told him,"Leave this fable to the story-tellers young Freidrich." But Freidrich's father encouraged him because he was a well-known hunter in Morgensterm,German,where Freidrich was born.
At the age of 16 the war had broken out and Freidrich was forced to join the Nazi youth.His mother dissapproved because their family had been Christians for many years.She knew it wasn't Freidrich's choice to make though.
In the Nazi Youth training camp Freidrich was put into he excelled in stalking,scouting,tracking,and shooting.This made him very popular among the Reich officers that were looking for soldiers.
When Freidrich turned 17 he was attached to a sniper named Kurt Von Brandenburg.Kurt was Freidrichs mentor as much as Freidrich was Kurt's spotter.
One day while Kurt was on a tracking class with a few of his students he was shot and killed by a Red Army sniper.
When Freidrich received the news of Kurt's death he felt more anger than he had ever felt before in his life.He was given Kurt's Kar 98k,his Nazi belt,and his Luger P-08.The man that gave him these things said,"Kurt's last words to you were fight until God says well done."
Freidrich vowed from then on he wouldn't stop until he saw the man that killed his mentor dead.

Writing Sample:
Freidrich had been laying there for hours looking through his scope when he saw the flash of a canteen being raised.The shot would've been about 250 meters.
"Easy shot." thought Freidrich to himself.Right as he was about to put a bullet in the red star he saw on his enemy's helmet he heard a rustling behind him.He put the rifle under his stomach and laid his head down so they couldn't see his face.
When the rustling moved on about 10 feet in front of him he looked up very slowly to see 3 Russian foot soldiers and a Commisar.
The Commisar said something to his commrades and they kept moving.What Freidrich realized was that they were heading straight towards his command post where there were only two soldiers on guard duty.He made the decision he would have to kill the 4 men silently as not to draw attention.
When the Red Army soldiers had gone around the bend Freidrich took out his Nazi Youth knife and said a short prayer.He then started crawling the other way towards a road covered in barbed wire and old vehicles.
Freidrich saw a soldier that had fallen behind to take a smoke.He saw his chance.Freidrich came behind the soldier,put the knife under his chin and sliced it open.He put the body in a deep crater that an artillery shell had made.But with no warning one of the soldiers came back and called out what Freidrich thought was the other soldier's name.He knew he couldn't fight this armed man with just a knife so he put some of the dead soldiers blood on his arm and on his face.Freidrich came into the open and said "I surrender !" the best he knew how in Russian.The enemy soldier laughed and turned to call his commrades over.In mid-sentence,Freidrich saw an oppurtunity and thrust the knife into his enemy's lower back.When he had seen the soldier was dead he picked up the rifle and checked to see if it was loaded.
Without warning the Commisar and another soldier came rushing around the corner.Freidrich fired 2 shots and saw the men fall 1 after the other.He then said."God forgive me for I have sinned."
