OOC: OK I'm god modding Colly a little in this post. If it's too bad just void it. Kitty has given me permission to use her guys. Also I have'nt made a map for the last part where they go and try to drive the rest of the German soldiers off as it seems pretty obvious and it would be a hard map to make. However if you want a map of that I will make one. Anything your unsure of please ask me.
IC: Lieutenant Jacka swore under his breath as realized the hopelessness of the situation, they were outgunned and surrounded. He raised his arms to show he had surrendered and his two companions soon did the same. in the space of a second he had already began to evaluate numerous escape plans but in the end he came to a conclusion, they were screwed. He took his two companions weapons and passed them over the sandbag wall. He placed them on the ground carefully before raising his hands a second time and leaning against the wall.
It was then that Jacka remembered something, he still had five good men hidden behind the enemy NCO. This was his way out. If these soldiers could take out the enemy NCO they'd soon be back home for tea and medals Jacka thought. It was all up to the Corporal.
The Corporal watched in disbelief as the enemy forced his commander to surrender. He turned to the two Privates who were also with him on the second floor of the tavern. They seemed equally concerned for the fate of the Lieutenant.
"Come on lads, the enemy officer is all that stands between our mates and escape. He should be easy pickings. We'll move stealthily until were close enough to assault quickly. I'll try and communicate with the other guys and make a distraction. Now let's show those Huns what the Tommie's can do"said the Corporal confidently in an attempt to improve the men's moral.
The two Privates smiled glad that they still had a leader and some clear orders to follow. The three men reloaded their trusty Lee-Enfields and removed any equipment that would make a noise and destroy the element of surprise. They then began to move, keeping low as they moved making sure they did not make any unnecessary noise. They had their bayonets fixed and they were hungry for revenge.
Private Flanagan had been stationed to the south of the village with one of Corporal Colly's men and had missed out on most of the action so far in the battle. He had heared a grenade explode worryingly close to the sandbags at the Eastern entrance to the village and he assumed that a last stand was probably being fought at the tavern. Private Flanagan turned to his fellow Private.
"It doesn't sound to good up there. If we move now we may be able to flank Jerry, or at least help the others. I'll go see where the enemy are. You should sneak over to the tavern and see if the Corporals got a plan." After a brief pause Flanagan hastily added the word "please."
The two men crouched down and went their separate ways. Private Flanagan made his way over to a point between two houses and awaited any contact with the rest of the section. The other Soldier moved slowly across the stretch of open ground that led to the the tavern making use of any cover he could find. He then moved to the window on the ground floor of the dull gray building.
Corporal Fox and his party were passing the window when a friendly soldier appeared and the men halted.
"Corporal, what next" whispered the Private.
"Jacka's in trouble, we're going to get him out of there" was the silent reply.
"What should we do"
"Get your mate to wound the guy or at least distract him. You can attack that building there with us"whispered the Corporal while pointing his muddy index finger in the direction of another house.
The Corporal and his men moved to their positions and waited for a distraction.
Colly's Private moved stealthily to a point where he could see Private Flanagan who was waiting patiently in an alleyway. He then signaled for Flanagan to engage the enemy commander.
Private Flanagan then crawled slowly to the next house being careful not to make any unnecessary movement that could attract attention. He trained the iron sights of his rifle on the upper torso of the enemy and began to control his breathing. If the enemy moved at all he'd be met by a .303 round to the chest. He breathed in and out calmly about four times before folding the out breath and applying a slight pressure to the trigger. The silence broken as a single bullet sped the air. He then ducked back behind the wall for cover.
Suddenly the British soldiers simultaneously burst into action. One soldier darted passed the doorway to a window on the other side of the house to cut of the enemy's only escape route. The Corporal crouched down and took up a firing position using the side of the doorway as cover. Then two Privates took up position in the window. The five men unloaded two rounds each into the enemy and would fire again if he tried anything.
When the first few shots were fired Aiden pretended to be wounded and tumbled backyards over the sandbags. Hopefully the enemy would believe that he had just been shot by the Nazi officer. Aiden slowly got up into a crouched position and picked up his Webley from the floor. He then moved cautiously to the doorway of the house and fired a single shot into the enemy's torso. He then retreated a few steps and picked up an unexploded grenade. The German fool hadn't even primed it before throwing it. If the enemy still was still standing and trying to fight back he would cook it for three seconds and hurl it into the room.
Then the Corporal and two others rushed into the room and quickly apprehended the enemy officer and took all of his equipment including his standard issue SS cyanide pills. Aiden handed the STG45 to the Corporal and threw his rope to one of the Privates.
"Tie his legs and arms behind his back in a strong knot. Corporal, cover him while he does so"ordered Lieutenant Jacka.
Then the British soldiers moved cautiously to the sandbag barricade and began to fire at the remaining enemy's. They all crouched to take full advantage of the waist high sandbags. Two soldiers dragged the enemy Commander to the sandbags to lower the enemy moral. The Corporal fired two short, controlled bursts from the STG45 towards each of the enemy soldiers. Aiden was stood beside him directing the men's fire.

JT has asked me to mod this, so here I go. It’s a very hard thread to understand, and so is the map, so please bare with me.
Pre-Phase 1
The British soldiers exposed on the wrong side of the sand bags came under heavy fire from all the German soldiers to the west. All disorientated by the grenade followed by the jump, they were easy picking for the German soldiers. Jacka’s Private was hit in the thigh and then torso. He was sent drooping back over the sand bags, one of his ribs breaking and tearing up the flesh inside him. He has heavy internal bleeding.
Colly’s Private was luckier. Only one shot hit him, in the left arm, breaking it. He can’t support a rifle but is other wise okay. He dropped low, realising no tree would provide ample protection.
Colly himself was hit in the right shoulder, breaking his collar bone. The wound is not serious, but painful, and he cannot use his right arm without extreme pain.
Phase 1
The plan the Corporal explained (without whispering) was well thought out and understood by all his men, including Sturmscharführer McMillan who was only a few metres away and who’s first language is obviously English. This heightened his alertness.
As Colly’s Private rushed over towards the tavern the Sturmscharführer spotted him, and let out a burst of automatic fire from his weapon. Five rounds hit the Private. The first sliced through his thigh flesh, and broke his bone. The next three tore into the left side of his rib cage, shattering ribs, deflating his lung, and striking his heart which killed him. The last round hit him in the skull, which simply cracked the bone.
Colly’s Private was obviously unable to signal to Flanagan. However, when Flanagan heard the fire, he rushed up the alleyway between the two buildings, wanting to get into the fight. McMillian, having already killed one man, saw a framed target running towards him. Flanagan, not realising the danger he was in burst into the open. The Sturmscharführer cut him down with a shot burst of three bullets, which tore through the man’s chest. Both his lungs were deflated, and he began to haemorrhage blood inside. Although he is barely alive, there is no way to save him.
Hearing the enemy fire before they were in position, the section rushed forward, their boots thumping on the ground, their breathing heavy. The Sturmscharführer, realising he was under a heavy attack, pulled out of the house.
However, the Corporal was able to get a shot at him. It struck McMillan in the lower back, just missing his spine. It hasn’t hit any organs, but is quite painful, even for the Infantryman.
Phase 2
McMillan sprinted across towards the sand bags, smashing the butt of his rifle into Jacka’s face. The Second Lieutenant had his nose broken, and his head span as he fell backwards, completely disorientated and concussed. McMillian took up a position behind the sandbags, dragging Jacka as a hostage with him.
He placed Jacka on his knees and pressed the muzzle of his rifle into the Canadian’s dizzy head.
The section, unprepared for the attack, has moved into the house, realising with horror what has happened.
You’re plan might have worked David if you’d remembered that JT is English speaking, and has a major cert. Inventive and imaginative I must say, but rarely do complex plans work. I suggest you start begging if you want your life. JT has several of your men within kill range, including yourself. I’m not sure even you could conger up and escape plan out of that, With JT’s men behind.

OOC – There is no map as Stephen doesn’t move very far at all…. Crap post but eh...we've lost as far as I've see it...
This was awful, this was hell on earth. What the hell was Jacka doing? He had just given flopped onto the sandbags, the gear and guns going over as well. Suddenly, a flurry of bullets was heard over head and Stephen threw himself to the ground but not quick enough to get a bullet in his shoulder. Hearing a crack and a slight yell of pain, he had a feeling his collar bone was broken.
What ever was going on around him, Stephen didn’t know or care. He was angry, angry at Jacka for getting them into this mess in the first place. He glanced over at the men who were attacking the house in which a Nazi had suddenly appeared from and was sprinting over to the group by the sandbags.
Bodies were everywhere, men moaning as they lay injured. This had all gone wrong. Stephen could easily guess what Jacka and the rest of the men had been planning, hell, he had even given orders to his men before the battle had started but now all that was left of them were their bodies.
Stephen’s head span as the pains hot up his neck as he tried to sit up, yelping slightly. The Nazi that had somehow appeared out of no-where was…oh shit…no…no…no….not Edward, not Ed…
Stephen stared at the man who he had seen only a few weeks back. Stephen yelped and immediately stuck his hands up in surrender. His eyes stared into Edward’s. He said nothing, just dropped his rifle in complete confusion…He could hear the approaching Nazis from the boats already…please, please dear god let Edward not do anything stupid.
Stephen bit his lip and his hands shook as the pain in his right shoulder mounted, he had to put his hand and then his left as they both hurt, he flopped back on the sandbags, his whole body shaking.

McMillan's eyes widened as he rounded the door way and there was no one to be seen at the sandbags he had just tried to obliterate. there was a bit of scuffling and then he heard the loud voices...he only smiled to himself. They were speaking a language he knew all to well, English. With an abrupt plan stopping assault McMillan dropped the first would be attacker, then lit the second one up as well. Their so called commander looked as if he wanted to surrender, but his close venture toward Ed left him with a bloodied face and probably a nice headache. But as he grabbed the officer a pain spider-webbed through his body. He fell over the sandbags on top of the officer, he could see the small streak of blood he had left in the short tumble. Shit! Again?! Twice in the same freakin battle?! he was angered but had to control himself, this wasn't over yet and emotions had no place in combat. Then everything seemed to slow to a halt.
NO! His thoughts froze, he froze, it seemed all of time stood still for a short moment. It was Colly, the one person McMillan never wanted to see in this capacity...ever. Colly had been on the other end of the bullets, possibly the very bullets McMillan himself had fired, and Colly had been hit. Edward could hear the clattering and thumping of his men as they approached the bottle-necked area. He pulled the officer in close as he held his rifle tight to the man's back, reaching over with his other hand and slapping a mag into one of his pistols, slinging his rifle across his back once the pistol was loaded, it took the place of the rifle with much ease.
McMillan threw his hand up to stop his men. They would probably be confused, but they had just sen their leader walk out of the hornets nest with an enemy officer in tow, they may have not wanted to stop, but they were content with the fact that McMillan proved that he knew what he was doing. "Colly, get out of here, GET OUT OF HERE NOW!" McMillan shouted, sweat dripping down his cheeks, his hands shook a bit, partially from the pain, mainly from the shock. ED whispered into the Allied officer's ear. "Listen to me you little shit, I'm walking back to that building over there and you are coming with me, move and I'll kill you, struggle and I will kill you, yell anything and I WILL KILL you, get the idea?!" He was sure the officer would be nodding in an exaggerated manner at this point, but he just started walking backward slowly, pulling the man with him, keeping a firm hand in place around his neck to make sure his human shield stayed close enough that no one would risk a shot. "Colly, get you and your men out of here, don't worry about the wounded, this incompetent jerk can handle that, you just get out of here as quickly as possible...PLEASE!" McMillan prayed in his head to anyone that would listen that Colly listen, or at least be too afraid not to do anything else. He hated that Stephen was there, hated it, but it was too late for that. He had to get out of there before his wounds became serious as well.
Once he and his men reached the building, McMillan tossed the officer inside and pointed at him, within half a second three rifles were trained on him, the other two reloaded and joined in. The officer was bleeding, and he was alone, would he all of a sudden become brave this building would become his grave. McMillan peered out of the nearby window through his binoculars, if the enemy fled the area then they would wait a bit and take the town. Should they feel the need to stay, well the day wasn't over and the morale boost everyone just received would ensure they could fight for much, much longer.
If they came charging after Edward and his men, the German's had the advantage of position, if they fled the area, McMillan would leave the officer unconscious on the ground while he and his men left, he wasn't taking the man with them, and he wasn't going to kill him...so long as everything went with how McMillan had pictured it. Colly showing up had struck a soft spot in his heart, this Officer owed his life to Stephen, well so long as he let them let him live that is.
OOC: this bit of god modding should be alright as PuNk! has many times stated that a pull/push is alright as it causes no damage on it's own. I did not include a map as I'm not sure which PVTs were shot/killed, all of my remaining men have rejoined me back in the building to the west waiting to see if the enemy will indeed flee.

Not too much to mark here. I am working with no map so please correct me if I get anything wrong.
Sturmscharführer McMillian
Roaring in English at Corporal Colly has attracted the attention of the German soldiers, who were not too happy to see an enemy soldier escape under their superior’s watch. Words might be had with the Sturmbannführer about such a traitorous action. However, Colly was able to move himself south and wade into the river. The German closet to him fired off his entire clip, with one shot just glancing the Corporal’s thigh in the water.
As McMillan retreated, the British section advanced towards the sand bags. By the time they reached the sand bags, McMillan was just about to enter the water with his hostage.
The Sturmscharführer’s rather frank chat to Jacka went in one ear and out the other. The man is very badly concussed, and on the way to the river, vomited over McMillan’s arm and tunic.
Seeing his commander a wreck, a British Private raised his rifle to fire on the Irish-German in vengeance. Seeing the threat, the Corporal next to him knocked the rifle upwards as the Private tried to fire. The shot passed harmlessly in the air, but the Germans in the area returned fire.
In the maelstrom of lead, Colly’s Private was ripped to pieces, as three stray round hit his torso. One hit his heart, the other two taking both lungs.
Jacka’s wounded Private behind just passed the point of no return with his heavy internal bleeding. Although still alive, nothing can be done fro him.
Corporal Fox was struck in the shoulder from the fire, creating a painful but not deadly wound.
The British men returned fire, hitting the southern most German in the torso. The round tore apart his intestine and liver, and he fell backwards, knocking himself out on a rock below the water’s surface. He’s now drowning, his face in the murky water. Mouth to mouth will be needed.
Noticing two shining lenses framed in a window, one other Private saw the shot of his career. Carefully aiming, he fired his rifle and hit the Sturmscharführer. The round entered the left scope and exited, and then passed straight the McMillan’s hand. It’s a painful wound, even to a veteran like himself, and some bandages might be advisable.

So he wasn’t dead, but that voice did sound like a dead man…but no. Stephen opened his eyes as they had closed from the pain and he looked over to see Edward standing just a few metres away with Jacka firmly in his grip.
"Colly, get you and your men out of here, don't worry about the wounded, this incompetent jerk can handle that, you just get out of here as quickly as possible...PLEASE!"
Stephen shook his head but no words came out, he reached for his rifle…he could shoot Edward there and then on the spot but he couldn’t, no that would just be horrible and anyway Edward was letting him live.
”Edward!” he squeaked out, glancing around in slight terror as he saw the death, none of his men were alive, or the ones that Stephen could see. He lifted himself up, backing away from the capturer and his prisoner. ”I…I’m not meant to leave him.” he nodded at Jacka but a crashing of bullets appeared over head and the boy jumped.
Taking one look at Edward, tears mixing with the blood that was running down his face, he backed away and ran towards the river, away from the noise. Germans were near him and one of the bullets hit his thigh, he stumbled and fell into the water but got up quickly, head down he waded his way through the river and on to the grassy bank, his shoulder was killing him and his thigh was being to pain him. He couldn’t go any further…glancing up at the little town, all he could see was men in German uniforms…he knew the way to get back to base…at least he hoped so…!

Mod Post
I’m just returning the favour. Forgive me if I get anything wrong in terms of POWs or kills, but this thread is very complicated, especially since Strum hasn’t provided a map in his last Mod Mark.
UNIT DUPLICATION: While trying to add up the Kills and Deaths in this thread I noticed that one of Jacka’s Privates was duplicated. Jacka ordered a Private to charge at JT with a grenade in the first post of the second page and Nathan modded him being killed. However, the next map that was posted included this Private alive and well and a few posts later he was even injured by a bullet in the intestines. A few turns after this he was fatally injured. Sorry McMillan, but you only get one kill for this.
CP and Result:
Jacka’s injured Corporal along with one of Colly’s Privates and one of Jacka’s Privates have evaded capture by exiting the village from the South.
SS-Sturmscharführer McMillan: A great victory for the fatherland. Some of your tactics weren’t brilliant (Your whole strategy involved you being superman...), but it paid off in the end. You have gained the following POW’s: Lieutenant Aiden Jacka (Member POW)
You (you get the credit for any of Reviens kills or losses) killed five enemy soldiers (3 of Colly’s and 2 of Jacka’s) and lost two of your own. You have also been awarded 40CP for the battle and 32CP courtesy of Jacka.
Lieutenant Jacka: You put up a good fight, but in the end it wasn’t enough. You killed one of McMillan’s men and lost two of your own men. You are also a POW.
Revien: 3Cp for Ealing. Yay!
Corporal Colly: Not a very good battle for you. You lost 3 Privates and killed 1 enemy soldier. However, no one witnessed your desertion on the battlefield, so you have avoided being demoted. 20CP
