I had a wheel-barrowful of ideas for Rhys and then suffered the slight drawback of...getting him killed...so I'm just going to muscle in to as many discussions as I can and hope someone takes pity on me.

Liam wants revenge on Ed, Nicholas wants revenge on Strum and Luther. The two could maybe...I don't know...go behind Patterson's back and bring a little justice of their own?

Well I'm happy to have either Rhys or yourself Dan join into the plot with Liam, whether Stephen or JT, using Patterson, would want you guys on the main thread I don't know. Be happy to do some "spin-offs" with you guys.

But yeah, just a bit hard how to piece it altogether.

So the plots at the moment are -

Stephen and McMillan in France
Stephen and Liam with possible others...I think...am I correct? Haven't missed anything out?
Pattinson and Liam...again with possible others.

Hmm,
Would you mind if we kept the thread where you're interrogated between the two of us Stephen? That way, there isn't any other witnesses to Captain Brentwood being bit of a vigilante.

After that, I'm happy for anyone else to leech onto Liam when he goes to take Steven Prisoner or speak to Patterson. Either way. But yeah, it's just hard how to incorporate everyone.

I have an idea!

Liam, bent on getting revenge on Ed, turns upon those "closest" to Ed - his brother, Steven, and his closest friend, Stephen. Liam can do nothing about Steven within military law, so poor Stephen gets the brunt of Liam's brutality, reduced to tears during a nasty interrogation by the Captain. At some point, Nicholas hears of what is happening about Ed, and when he hears that Ed is in the SS, Nick sees a chance to get revenge for his nephew. So, being in an American division, Nicholas interrogates Steven (with Liam) attending, and that can somehow end badly, with Patterson getting involved. Dan, an innocent bystander, hears of the conflict going on between Liam, Nicholas and Patterson through the grapevine, and is determined to find out what the heck is going on (one could say Ed's whereabouts are being kept a secret). We could say that he's noticing a difference in morale with the friction between the officers, and is doing it for the good of the division.

Just a quick summary my brain made up.

But I was thinking more along the lines of Patterson interrogating Steven, being his commander. That's if Steven even wants a role to play in this!? Lol, so I'm not sure Liam would be able to interrogate Steven, unless he ducked behind Patterson's back to do so, but hmm...

I don't know. What you suggested sounds a bit rough around the edges.
Perhaps Nicholas and Dan could overhear the argument happening Liam and Patterson; Where Liam is demanding Steven to be taken prisoner under his majesty, but Patterson is standing his ground and yelling at Liam to get lost basically. He'll deal with the situation.

So maybe Dan and Nicholas could overhear the argument and well, they could entwine into the plot from there?

So yeah, perhaps Patterson could send Dan and Nicholas to go take Steven prisoner; Perhaps the two of them could start up a thread with Steven, obviously delivering the news he's being taken in and Steven could rebel - I'm guessing he's the type, being in the McMillan family.

Then Dan and Nicholas have the hard job of trying to take Steven prisoner, which makes it seems like Steven's all the more guilty, if he's seen resisting arrest. Lol!

But in all seriousness, if Steven DOES rebel, then it could really set Nicholas off. Maybe then he could get paranoid, and start thinking there might be spies in the 3ID? Then, with him and Liam losing the plot, you could have some sort of awesome climax.
