Hostile Thread Curfew!

Hey Guys,

It has come to my attention, there are too many hostile threads outstanding and this is pulling a massive, massive strain on me. Every day, I'm finding out that a new thread needs a mod mark and that's not to mention the current threads I'm trying to Mod, as well as update and keep this place ticking.

The current Hostile threads are;
- Passage of Piety
(coming to a close, because I've been modding it regular and I would just like to say thank you to Nathan and Strum for making it easier to Mod. Well written posts and a very readable map

- Barbarians at the Gate
(Daniel Brennan has volunteered to mod this, thank you!!!)

- Raid on the Trenches
(I'm modding this, due to a mix up with JT being away and Mr Brennan being in the thread - so he can't help mod it)

- Wings of Glory
(I've just literally found out this thread exists...)

And... I can bet you bottom dollar, more hostile threads are about to begin very soon. I've seen Wolfram talk of a big battle and I know when "passage of piety" finishes, another will arise soon after.

It isn't just modding hostile threads, but there is a massive outstanding number of neutral threads to close as of yet. Shouldn't be hard, it's just time costly.

Also, I'm trying to update and build this place still.
Today, I was able to make a big shop update, due to the items being presented to me, rather than me making them from scratch. So I'm thankful of that, but there is plenty more construction I have to get underway with - such as the Premium board area for instance...

Ohhh - And I'm trying to train the three new Support Staff!

And whilst doing ALL OF THAT I'm still trying to find the time to be able to post in my own two neutral threads, which are now a week outstanding. You're probably thinking, why didn't I just post in them now, if I have the time to write this and other things? Pure honesty is, the time I've modded and updated, I hardly feel like writing a page worth of writing to post.

So you can understand, I'm very very very busy on here when it comes to logging on and I'm getting a little tired of people asking me to mod or look at their suggestions. It's starting to take it's toll and I'm getting a little aggrovated by it.

I'm doing my best single handedly and with a small help from Daniel Brennan, but until JT returns or we speed up the training on the support staff, I'm unable to do everything you want me to do guys and I've basically given up my fun-side on here, because I can't role play anymore - I tried and it's failed again. So all those in threads with me, count them closed, because I honestly can't even role play anymore, not until more staff are recruited properly.

The purpose of this thread, is simple.
Please be patient, try to reframe from nagging me - for some reason, whenever a thread is made, people want me to mod it. Well it doesn't work that way, please request another staff member, I'm pulling my teeth out as it is and lastly... Let me breathe!

I understand some threads get buried or get neglected, but I'm honestly doing my best right now without much help going on. So again, be patient... I would really appreciate it.

As of now, any hostile threads created must be approved by a staff member who would agree to mod it for them. This curfew will remain in power until JT returns and more staff are recruited; So no one may create hostile threads freely, you must request a staff member who will agree to mod it for you.

The work load on here is huge and single handedly, it's too much for me, so unfortunately I've been pushed to take this action.

I feel kinda greedy being in two threads at the same time But as Tom says, this is your site, and you need to enjoy yourself here, more than we do. We're just the lackeys/slaves/pains in the arses that hang around.

I enjoy myself with everything I do here, but when there's too much to do here, it becomes a burden and that's when I don't enjoy myself. Everyone begins to sound and look like nagging little old ladies, rather than avid members; So all I'm asking, until JT returns or Dan volunteers to pull his finger out a little more and mark a few threads or close some threads for me, I can't allow anymore hostile threads to be opened...

Like I said, I'm the one left to mod mark them and it's too much for me personally right now.

This Curfew has been lifted!

You may once again make hostile threads freely, due to new Moderators.
If you would like to request a certain moderator or staff member to mark your thread, please do so by personal messaging the staff member AND stating this at the beginning of your thread.

If the staff member is unable to mark your thread, then another staff member will take the role.

Only reason I'm stating that you may request particular staff to mod your thread, is due to the open variety of choice and ideally, only one staff member may mod-mark your thread. Having several different mods marking your thread, would cause inconsistencies and mix ups!

So again, if you would like someone in particular to mod your thread, request before hand.
