Accepted. To the best of my knowledge atm, there are no CO slots available, and well you app isn't of CO quality, no offense. Also you can't start off in a unit, you have to request to join one and be accepted before becoming a part of a unit. I see no reason you can't have the rank of Sergeant though.

Name: Peter König
Nationality: Pure German
What Army will Your Character Serve Beneath?
Ahnenerbe
Character History:
Peter is an historian.
He has been obsessed with history as long as he could remember. His father was an archaeologist who worked primarily in France researching Ancient Gaul. For the early part of his life, he spent traveling with his father to different digs. But all that changed when he was seven
WWI started.
His father was in ruins. All his painstaking excavations Mr. Konig went through were demolished by tank tracks, artillery, mines, and footprints. So Peter's father enlisted in the Imperial German army. For Peter's father that proved a fatal decision.
Peter, scarred by his fathers death, went into a deep depression. He read more, and more, and more. He became enraged by the Treaty of Versailles and developed a hatred for life, and nearly committed suicide at 15. But the same year his sister turned 18 his family joined the National Socialist Party.
Peter enrolled in the Hitler youth, passing out flayers and street fighting with communist youth groups. He became strong along with smart, a deadly combination. Instead of reading books about Ancient Persia, Japan, Germany, Greece, Rome, and Israel, he started to get fanatical about the history of Germany, Greece, and Rome.
As soon as Hitler became dictator he enrolled in the Waffen SS Ahnenerbe. It was all he ever could have wished for. He fought and studied through the war, but was killed in the defense of Berlin in 1945.
Military Rank: Whatever you see fit, but I would very much enjoy a CO rank
Writing Sample:
Afrika. It wasnt a strange place to Peter, he had been there several times before on expeditions, but this time it was different. He was lost. Peter nervously fingered the SS runes on his collar as he tapped his camel with his scuffed leather boots in the direction of what he thought was a town on the horizon, but it could be anything from a mirage to a English base for all Peter knew.
He lifted the tan Field cap from his head, wiped his forehead and slapped it back on his head. It was about noon. Damn, just his luck, being lost at the hottest time of the scorching Egyptian day. Sweat soaked his sand colored tunic and stung his eyes.
CRASH!
The camels front hoof crashed through the ground, bringing Peter to the ground. A flash of blue and yellow flew by as he flew off his mount. He hit his head hard, his ears ringing and pain shooting into his mind. But he realized what had happened and sprung to his feet.
"Oh mien Gott" Peter said examining the hole. It went down to somthing that looked like a small grave. Maybe for someone who helped build the pyramids?
But his wonder was caught short as a shot rung through the air. Blood oozed through his tunic sleeve and pain shot through his whole body. He pulled the Walther P38 from the holster and scanned the horizon for his attacker. He saw him, an English soldier with a Lee Enfield. Peter's finger, shaking from the pain in his opposite arm, squeezed off three shots. One of them must of hit because the enemy dropped to his knees.
But Peter succumbed to the pain of his wound an slipped into unconsciousness.
