Nice app, one of the only ones I've accepted that had no speeling errors, even though the one on here recognizes "toward" as a misspelled word Accepted as a Sergeant.

Most of his neighbors children could not get an education either so they made a small group of friends to help each other.

Matthew Beatty hid behind a wall in a Nazi occupied town. Nazi's were every where and he nearly died after his squad mates got killed by a machine gun. Smoke was in the air and the talking of Germans were nearby. Matthew couldn't understand a word they were saying but it didn't matter. He was lucky to still have his equipment.
His British uniform was wrinkled and burnt in some places. His Lee-Enfield rifle was still in good shape but he only had a clip left. Matthew's helmet was almost useless as it was now weak. Beatty heard the voices of the Germans grow fainter and fainter as time went on.
"They are going away" Matthew thought. It was time to make his move. He jumped over the wall and moved deeper into the crippled town. Matthew kept low as he ran towards the wall of a building. Beatty peaked out from the corner and saw nothing so he ran and jumped into a garden. He lay prone against the flowers. "Seems the Germans spared this town from destruction." He thought. The Nazi's were patrolling around the perimeter of the town so it was relatively small.
Beatty got up and dashed to a building near the forest out of town. He hit the wall and looked around. Nothing was around but then he knew there was something when he heard a loud gunshot.
"Sniper!" Matthew said to himself as he ran towards the forest. The snipers bullet would kill him probably so he had to move quickly.
Matthew heard the yelling of Germans as they saw him run. They started firing madly with their MP40's and two bullets hit Matthew. One hit his leg and another hit his arm. "Damn..." Beatty said as he limped quickly into the forest.
Another sniper bullet hit a tree and Matthew limped. More shouts in German were heard so Beatty ignored his leg and sprinted as fast as he could. He tripped and rolled as saw the Nazi soldiers winding through the forest. So Matthew scrambled up quickly and avoid more bullets from the Nazi's by dodging between trees.
It seemed like an eternity of running when he stumbled into a clearing. Then he exhaled greatly as he saw it was a small British camp. A large British corporal walked up to Beatty. He asked what happened and Matthew said in between breaths "Nazi town... Patrol... Sniper..." Is was Beatty said before he passed out, exhausted.
