Hey Guys,
Due to the recent increase in big signatures, it's come to my attention that everyone's getting a little excited.
And so the signature panels are getting bigger and bigger, slowly.
I've already informed our (lovely) signature maker on the size barrier; A decent 250 X 500 for images, but now something else has spawned in it's wake and I'm finding it rather annoying.
Allow me to explain;
A member who has the maximum image size of, lets say, 250 X 500 or a wider/taller image that breaks past the 250/500 And a whole array of writing in their signature, isn't good.
Allow me to explain further...
Signature size fair:
Signature size too big - bumped up by text:
Signature size fair, although taller than required:
Signature size way unacceptable...:
Now can you see the difference?
I'll improvise a little more, just to show you what I mean by it taking up way too much space on the page...

Now, you can't tell me that isn't taking up the entire page?
I'm not picking on anyone here, but I'm just a little tired of having to warn older members about their signatures being too big, I've done it several times now in the past and some people just keep doing it. Call it a pet peeve? Whatever you will, but I would like this website to be fairly tidy and with the amount of large posts we have (talking pages worth per' person sometimes) it's little things like these that add Unnecessary space and expandature.
For those who're new here, I hope this thread forewarns you of the size I have in mind for an appropriate signature.
I'm far from strict on simple matters such as these, but having to tell some people more than twice about their signature sizes can get a little annoying. So please, just be considerate guys. I could easily remove your signature, but choose not too, as it's your due right to express yourself where displayed in your profile.
Now I'm a nice guy; Just reason with me a little.

I'm just asking people to be more considerate, particularly when people record their stats in stacked rows, it can waste a lot of signature space and bumps up the entire page pointlessly.
