I'm in a battle at the moment, but another few days and we can get this going.

Weather: Clear crisp air in the spring, late afternoon time, sun setting in the west behind the Germans
Terrain details: The area is completely dry, though with the typical humidity

The tank in the German base is full of petrol, it's flammable (clue for both sides). It is about 6m X 1m.

The guardhouse can raise the road block easily, or it can be broken.

The building with multiple greys to the left bottom corner is a church. The tower stands at the end. It has for levels, all levels have windows on both sides and the top level is blown out on the eastern side. The tower is approximately 12m tall.

The three small brown circles are mortar pits and the three large circles on the north-east corner are craters from mortars.

Big green thing in the middle is a hedge about 2m wide and 4m high. Two parts of it have been blown up and it would be VERY hard to get through the rest of it. Other green rectangles are smaller hedges.

The large building in the north-east is on fire on the eastern half. Watch out for it.

There are as many as two allied spots open. Though one would be easier for time purposes and I shall make a different posting order so as to equalise reaction timing.

How comes neither David or Punk are allowed in this battle? I would be happy to sign up for the Allies, but I wouldn't be able to take on a task of this magnitude alone and neither would I like to join if a lower Allied member was to join alongside me.

So, I would be happy to be one of your enemies, if only a stronger Ally was to join. In all fairness, the Axis have three members, multiple troops, halftrack and I'm guessing - Mortars, with a place reserved for Strumfelder and Mortar pits?

In actual fact, I don't see why you have excluded Punk from this battle when ideally, CPT Brentwood or CPT Patterson are the only candidates you'll get a good fight from. So like I said, I will join if only I get a stronger counter party than myself.

Hope that is alright with you? Seems highly unfair of me to join and I'm barely able to match a quarter of your entire force.

I've fought PuNk! and David too much. Patterson is JT's character and Rhys also has an officer. I think Nathan does as well. Not sure. And yes, I want the mortars. however, if Strummie refuses then I'll go without him.

It looks really good, but is the petrol be lit by a bullet, or do you have to use a ciggarette lighter, flamethrower, ect.?

No offesne Steven, but if I'm to bring Patterson, the weakest of my characters, he is bringing his armor and his radiomen to call Nathan in. Think it unfair, earn CP to buy the stuff, I earned it and bought it, I'll be damned if someone is gonna tell me I can't use my stuff while they are lobbing freakin mortars at me

Good god. I know what you mean, JT. however, I'm caught between trying to keep it a little less bleak for me and, now, not wanting to piss you off. Perhaps an agreement about armour then? I'm still not even sure if Stummie will come or not. Perhaps we ought to put the armour discussion off until we get that confirmation.

Sorry didn't mean to come off harsh, honest, we lost an officer in the line of duty yesterday and they worked on my shift, weren't good friends or anything, but it has me on edge, and pulling her extra slack hasn't helped the situation.

Deal, how about this, Strum joins you let me TRY and call Nathan in with my radio guys, as you are shooting to have three Axis members and there will only be two Allied, making the posting a bit lop-sided?

Oh. I'm sorry, that would put anyone over trying to justify or understand it. If Strum comes, I'll ask him to bring the vlakvierling and you can bring your Sherman and radioman. You have to remember I'm not Wolfie and I don't pull tanks out of my ass for a living. Having a half-track against a tank makes on feel really vulnerable. I just want a whole armour division rammed down my throat. Now, I have to find a way of destroying a tank. Anyway, sorry about the officer. I can't help but feel bad for you and her now.

With mortar shells, they wouldn't destroy the tank out rank, but they could damage it, such as blowing the tracks off and damaging the engine. I suppose if they hit a hatch, the crew would be pretty buggered.
