Denied![/b]
The demand for CO positions is forever rising and with every CO position now handed out, means they have to be of high standard.
Unlike NCO/Enlisted ranks, we are happy to accept unlimited numbers of these, whereas the CO ranks are more scarce. Few and far between. I'm sorry, but your application has been denied completely.
- Writing Errors
- Very Short application
- Small detail; Short sentences.
I just feel that you have not reached the CO critera needed.

Character History:
Michael was born in cornwall in 1920. He grew up in London after his parents moved there. He was an only child. His family was a poor family and his father was constantly in and out of employment. His mother never got a job.
He was one of the cleverest in his class until he got to high school. He then began to drop down the ladder and was soon in one of the lower classes. He was trying to get stronger and stronger so that he could fight off the school bullies when they decided it was time for him to get a beating. He soon showed them who was boss.
He spent the rest of his school life messing arounf and failing most of his classes. He left school with poor qualifications and got a job in the local shop. He worked there and brought some money into the house. His dad was still in and out of employment. He would usually get a job stay in it for a month or two and be back out of it. He would then be unemployed for a similar amount of time before getting another job.
When the war started in 1939 Michael joined the army. It payed better than the job at the shop but was a lot more dangerous. He joined later that year and was sent nearly straight to France. He served there for a year before being transferred to Africa. He took part in the battles for Tobruk. Here he won a promotion and a medal for showing extreme courage.
He survived the war and went on to fight in the cold war. He never saw action but he dtayed on as a training officer once the war finished. He then retired in 1985.
Military Rank:
Lieutenant(I know it's optimistic but it's worth a shot)
Writing Sample:
The french frontlines had been bombarded by shells. Michael had somhow arrived behind the German lines and had somehow ended up behind enemy lines. He could not completely remember what had happened it had happened so fast. He had been seperated from his unit but was pretty sure where he was meant to be going.
He was scared he was holding his Lee Enfield tight. His finger was on the trigger ready to fire if there was any sign of trouble. He was alone for the first time in his military career. Alone and lost. He could tell that nightfall was approaching. He did not want to be left alone in the middle of enemy territory at night. The idea scared him. The hair on his neck stood on end. He shivered. There were goosebups on his arms and neck.
He trudged slowly onwards. The sun setting ever further on the horizon. He had about an hour until sundown. He stopped to take a mouthful of water from his canteen. He slung his gun over his shoulder and swung his bag around the opposite way. He opened it and took a drink.
'Halt!!!' came a voice, 'Wie heisst du?' it continued. An SS soldier stepped out of the shadows.
Michael raised his arms. The German stepped towards him his gun pointed at Michael's head. Michael wasshoved against the wall. The German had probably lowered his gun. Mickael brought his leg up in between the German's legs. The german collapsed. Michael retrieved his gun and pointed it at the SS soldier.
The german punched Michael in the face in a desperate effort to thwart his attempts at ending his life. He succeeded. Michael sent the butt of his Lee Enfield into the man's face. He then turned the gun around and before the Nazi could get out of the way Michael had sent a bullet through his head.
Michael continued onwards and was reunited with his unit just after sundown.
