Unit Nationality Bonuses!
[/b][/center]Hello everybody!
This has been a long anticipated update since the summer, where a couple of debates under went about the unit nationalities earning different “Bonuses” and “Equipment”. Well, now it’s complete (sort-off) and during my belated absence of not having a proper desktop computer to work from, I’ve written up pages of notes to try and fathom out the best bonus method to award each nationality - fairly.
The following bonuses contradict each nationality:
Commonwealth Empire: British, Australian, Indian, Canadian, etc…
- Higher defence when situated in Fox-holes and Trenches (less likely to be hit).
- Cigarettes, raise morale overall. Bonus Attack and Defence (for a small time).
- Standard Bayonet (no bonus).
United States:[/b] Americans - Excludes Canadian Soldiers.
- Higher offence and attack bonus! Armed with a semi-auto rifle, the Americans gain a significant offensive bonus with their firepower.
- Shovel (No defensive bonus).
- Standard Bayonet (no bonus)
German Empire:[/b] Germans - excludes Italians, Japanese, etc/
- Larger melee range, with the use of their imperial bayonets (capable of attaching to the rifle).
- Deadlier in hand to hand combat, if the imperial bayonet is used…
- Larger explosive radius when grenades are used.
- Shovel (No defensive bonus).
They are the final write ups and the following units have been added for all three nationalities;
- Privates, Corporals, Sergeants.
More expected units to follow are;
- Machine Gunners
- Snipers
- Combat Medics
- Platoons/Squads
Now before you go saying, they are already added, you have to remember, with every new unit added from here on, they will be categorized with a nationality, giving them bonuses. So the German Machine-Gunner may have less overheat on their weaponry in combat, whilst the American Machine-Gunner comes with grenades. So everything will be tactical from here on out!
If you feel you can help with this continuing update, any help will be appreciated.
So please forward any images you may find for some of the corresponding units awaiting to be transferred into nationality units.
Also, if any staff are finding this hard to remember (I’ve kept the bonuses as simple as possible, so they’re easy to remember when faced with mod-marking), PM me and I’ll give you a run-down of their attributes in better detail, if need be.
With that said, I hope this progressing update brings more clarity to your role plays.
