Although a bit short, it had good grammar and spelling throughout and I'm happy to award you the rank of Senior Airman (Corporal).

What Army will Your Character Serve Beneath?
US
Character History:
Jamie has ear length black hair and brilliant blue eyes. He dresses well and has been observed by superiors to be unusually quiet.
Born 1916 to a Minnesota father and a Massachusetts mother. Raised in Duluth, Minnesota, on the bank of Lake Superior. Went to school at the local community schools. His mother was a teacher and his father worked as an actor at the local theatre. He has one brother, 3 years older who moved to the United Kingdom in 1936, later joining the RAF after Germany invaded Poland, in anticipation of war. After Japan attacked Pearl Harbour, Jamie immediately left his job as a waiter at the local restaurant and was first at the recruitment office. Now serves in the US Air Force. Often flies routine scouting missions in his SpitFire.
In 1939, his mother caught pneumonia and died. Only two weeks after, his father was killed when the stage lighting rig fell on him and crushed him to death. Both parents gone in the space of 15 days, his superiors worried that this could have a very negative influence on his career, but no staff member reported any difference, apart from the senior flight instructor commenting that "Todd seems quieter than usual".
He has been described as an excellent pilot by commanders and passes all flight tests with (no pun intended) flying colours.

Jamie Todd moved into a more comfortable position and rubbed his hands to get some warmth into them. The sniper rifle in front of him didn't get cold, he thought gloomily. He hated lookout duty. Still, everyone had to do it, lieutenant's orders.
Just as he was thinking that no one would appear tonight, he spotted a movement in the corner of his eye. Jerking the rifle around he focused the M73B1 scope on the spot he'd seen movement. He scanned the area again and finally saw a glint of something. What was that? A scope? He zoomed in on the object and saw it flicker slightly. "Definitely a sniper rifle" he thought grimly. He took a firm hold on his gun and waited for the opportune moment.
He watched the rifle for what seemed like hours, but in reality was only seven-and-a-half minutes. Suddenly, it moved sideways and Jamie got a clear view of a soldier, lying prone like himself, crawling through some foliage about 50 metres away. Triumphant and relishing the kill that was soon to be his, he took careful aim.
He slowly counted down from five, to make his breathing level. 5...He had the sniper directly in his sights. 4... On his head he had a metal helmet, not enough to protect him from the sort of bullets the US used. 3...Jamie was so zoomed in, he could read the serial number on the barrel of the enemy's rifle. 2...
Suddenly, a kick to his side sent Jamie rolling sideways, groaning in pain. He looked wildly around him and saw figures.. at least 3. He tried to sit up but a boot connected with his head and he saw stars.
"Ambush.." he shouted weakly, but the howling wind swallowed his pitiful cries. He tried in vain to unholster his side arm, but found it wasn't there. "Bugger!" he thought. He must have left it at the barracks. He tried to sit up again and by grace of God, saw the boot coming to kick him again, and managed to twist out of the way. Now he was standing and his mind clearing rapidly. There was one soldier directly in front of him. He lunged at Jamie, trying to grab his legs. Again Jamie sidestepped and the soldier fell heavily on the ground. Jamie raised his foot and brought in crashing down on the man's head, knocking him unconscious. Revenge...
The second soldier was busy trying to dismantle Jamie's sniper rifle. He looked up as Jamie advanced but wasn't quick enough to react. Jamie grabbed a tuft of his hair and jerked the man's head backward. He then rammed his fist into the soldier's temple and he sank to the ground. The third soldier was nowhere to be seen.
