OOC: Ok PVT max Dobly wont be taking part due to him never getting the time to be active. I will try to get some activity out of him soon.

The teams are Edwards and his men V everyone else. Remember that Edwards has a good weapon and combined with three NPCs and a member so the odds are against the other team. Everyone can be hit three times before they are out!

One last thing to make it interesting. Whoever I feel fought best besides me of course or you'd have no chance will have some CP awarded to them!

IC: Jacka held his Lee-Enfield tightly in his arms. It had been modified to fire blank rounds which would hopefully not seriously injure his men. Though Jacka knew from experience that they hurt like hell. He surveyed the area searching for strategic routes of attack. The small hilltop village obviously controlled the battle field.

"Double time men let's take the village and hold it against any counter attack" said Jacka authoritatively.

Jacka rushed up the hill and reached the outer perimeter of the village. Four small huts stood on top of the lonely hill. David rushed through the empty village and occupied the building furthest building. he was glad to be in shelter from the intense midday heat. He crouched down next to the window and peered out trying to keep a low profile. He rested the barrel of his Lee-Enfield on the window sill and aimed towards the enemy. He drew back the bolt and made himself ready to fire.

He looked back in the direction he had come impatiently waiting for his men to arrive. He looked back towards the enemy and decided he was not going to fire until they discovered his position or his men arrived.

Jacka hoped to see which members of his company performed well in combat. Only Private Edwards had had much combat experience but Jacka was not to impressed by Edwards as he had been demoted for trying to murder a friendly soldier.

Jacka whispered to himself "let the games begin."

Sgt. Mac Bargett followed the orders and increased his pace. The one thing he hated the most in this man’s army was the running, especially running for exercise. Running for your life in combat is one thing, but running during training is just silly.
Mac continued to fume about having to run when it was not necessary, and other problems with the military until he had arrived at the mock village at the top of the hill. From a distance, he saw Lieutenant Jacka rush into one of the training structures further down the village, so Mac prepared to enter the bunker behind the commander’s.

Shouldering his Lee-Enfield, which was faux-bayoneted, Mac leaned into the one room building and once he saw that it was empty, dropped his rifle, took off his pack, and sat down in the corner. Once he got comfortable, Mac opened his pack and pulled out a cardboard box, which he ripped at until he was able to pull out a chocolate bar. He broke off a large piece and put the rest back into his pack. Content with his position, Mac leaned back against the wall and waited for something to happen.

Jack was very hot and sweating quite a bit in his uniform. He looked around, nothing to see for miles and miles apart from a slight incline a little way ahead of them. It seemed to be were they were headed. The day was typical of the desert; boiling and barren. Just like everyday since they had got to the desert about two weeks ago. Upon landing they had done a few days of the basics; shooting assessment, fitness and the like, and then had spent a good week or so being taught advanced desert warfare.

This was there first training mission and Jack was keen to impress his superior. His superior being lieutenant Aiden Jacka, upon arriving in the desert Jack was told that he was second in command to the lieutenant. They were still walking through the desert, three of them; himself, the lieutenant and an American that Jack had met in a bar just before he had been shipped out to Africa.

Just as they were approaching the smallish hill the lieutenant said "Double time men let's take the village and hold it against any counter attack" and took of toward the hill. Jack looked around, a few tank wrecks and shell holes apart from that the usuall barren waste land. Jack ran after the lieutenant toward the hill sweat pouring off him now. He arrived at the village just after the other two. Seeing there didn't seem to be a particular building they had to go in he followed Sargent Mac into his. "So" he said upon getting to the building and slumping down in the window next to him "hows the south wales borderer's treating you?" he said sarcastically breaking into his cheeky grin referring to the private joke between the two Sargents that Jack had been mentioning ever since they had arrived in Africa.

Halfway through Macs response he cut across him pointing out the window "shit!...look!" he said his voice worried, as Mac looked out the window in one movement Jack grabbed the chocolate out of his hand and ran out of the door "thanks Mac" he yelled and, chuckling, he ran to the building were the lieutenant was waiting. Dropping down to the window beside him he said "so, boss man, whats the plan?"
