Yep, it's me again. Thought Nathan could do with a bit of opposition.

- French
What Army will Your Character Serve Beneath?
German Army
Character History:
- Born in 1912 in Marsellies, France, Marlon was an ambitious man of an ancient and reasonably well-off Franco-British family and was fiercely opposed to the German threat that enveloped his country.
When France fell in 1940, Revien alongside his younger brother, Ranulph, joined the Free French Army under the infamous Charles de Gaulle and waged guerilla warfare tacticts on the German invaders and steadily rose to the rank of Caporal, following an impressive attack on a German patrol in which he effectively saved the lives of a number of his comrades, killing a small squad of the enemy in the process. He grew to be a popular figure amongst the men and seemed destined to rise to the rank of officer within the next year.
However, Revien was clumsy. He made little effort to keep his identity or alleigance a secret and was soon targeted as a possible threat by local German officers. The Nazi denizens of France searched for Revien and sought to arrest him and, if neccessary, torture him for information on the French Free Army. They came to his home and butchered his family when they refused to reveal his location. Revien fled north to evade Nazi rule but was captured in a matter of days. He was arrested immediately.
The German forces gave him two choices. Either he could die at their hands or he could declare alleigance to the Axis powers and fight under them. Panicking terribly, Revien chose the second option and became a Soldat in the Wehrmacht and remained generally unnoticed amongst the rabble.
Revien took to the skies in 1940 as navigator to a decorated German Flight Lieteunant due to desperate searches for aviation units to serve under Nazi rule in preperation for the beckoning Battle of Britain. During the fiercely-fought battle as the aircraft flew over Kent, the plane suffered significant damage and the pilot was killed due to unspecified injuries. Revien frantically took over control of the plane and succesfully shot down a number of enemy aircrafts before retreating into German territory.
His superiors were impressed by his flying skills under great pressure, as well as the fact that he effectively saved the lives of a number of airmen also present in the aircraft at that time and was awarded the Iron Cross for his bravery. Weeks later, he was regulated into the Luftwaffe in the full capacity of pilot.
Military Rank:
- Flight Sergeant
Writing Sample:
Flight Sergeant Revien scrambled furiously from beneath the wreckage of his Messerschmitt, coughing pathetically as he blinkeed his eyelids dumbly. His mind couldn't process what had just happened...it had all happened so fast....
He rolled over onto his back and spluttered like a stranded fish as he fought desperately for air. Marlon could barely see; all he could see before his eyes was the horrific sight that had burned his soul but minutes before. The flames. The smoke. The screams.
Revien stumbled to his feet, before once more crashing into the lush Italian soil. He could see that there was no point in trying to get up. His body was giving out; from what he could see of the lower half of his body, it seemed that his leg was broken badly and he had the odd sensation in his chest that it wasn't connected to the rest of his body properly.
He was shaken out of his thoughts by sounds in the distance. No, voices. He felt his entire body grip with fear. American voices.
Three figures burst out from the undergrowth and, after a couple fo seconds of surprised confusion, they shakily trained their pistols on the crashed pilot.
"Do you understand English?" asked one slowly as if Revien was some kind of dog. The pilot nodded weakly. What was the point in denying.
"Looks like we've got a hostage here, boys," grinned a second, whose accent seemed to be that of an Englishman, or maybe Australian. Marlon had forgotten the difference by now in any case and he was far more concerned about the severe blood loss that his body was suffering.
The other two burst out laughing at their companion's quip and Revien took his chance. He whipped out his pistol and sent a bullet flying into each Allies' hearts, sending them crashing to the floor instantly.
The Frenchman crawled away from the scene of the attack and took cover behind a particularly sturdy tree trunk, training his pistol on the surrounding area. If anymore of the enemy came near, he told himself, then he would be ready.
