Although short and simple, it didn't have too many mistakes and it proved you had enough writing skill for me to grant you the Sergeant rank you asked for. Accepted

Writing Sample:
Scenario: You’re alone behind enemy lines and you get the eerie feeling someone’s watching you. You’re trying to remain quiet, stay low, work your way back to the frontlines - but you can’t help but feel you’re being followed…
The Sargent kept his head low in the dense forest that was five meters from his "DZ". Someone was following him...The young man had lost his M1 Carbine in the jump and was forced to carry a jump knife. He wandered through the forest for about ten minutes until an explosion of a C-47 crashing down near him lit up the area, he quickly turned behind him to see a distracted falschimjager, German paratrooper. Grabbing his jump knife and quickly approaching the kraut as he looked out to the crashed plane. The sounds of fire and carnage from the C-47 masked his footsteps.
He clenched the knife with all his might, his knuckles white and his brow sweating from anticipation. As soon as he was a foot from the German he jumped and tackled the man to the ground. The two wrestled vigorously until Bobby had the falschimjager pinned, he stabbed vigorously, penetrating his enemy's chest twice and eventually slicing open the other trooper's jugular vein. As the man gurgle and reached up in desperation, Robby stepped back shaking and looking at the bloodied knife. Tears began to shed from his eyes as he looked at what he had done in a fit of adrenaline and passion. Dropping the knife, he leaned against a nearby tree for a few minutes. The thought slipped from his mind as he remembered he had something more important to do. Grabbing the falschimjager's discarded K98k, he checked the chamber and moved towards his initial Drop Zone.
