If you wish to purchase more than 2 Mines, please contact a staff member to sell you a ‘Bulk Buy’ of mines, however, each unit may only carry 2 mines at once (including you). So when using four or six mines in one thread, you must have at least one NPC unit for every two mines. Let’s face it, you can’t carry several mines at once and someone has to plant them! So this will be keeping the realism in tact’.
It says NOWHERE that you must show the mines in your inventory. The move is 100% legal, I am the mod marker, this is my thread, my word is FINAL.
Also, Owen, the mine was buried on the ground infront of the bridge, directly under David's movement line. However, their proximity to the bridge caused the explosion. Anymore argumetns may result in a suspension from the site for a few days.
Next move; McMillan

I hate drama, I think it is pointless, I'm gonna throw in my two cents and leave it.
DBev, the move was legal, you have placed mines on the opposite side of a bridge before and I think PuNk! was the mod.
If PuNk! was the mod for this you would not give him this much lip would you?
What did you expect it being 10 on 1?
-JT
**EDIT!**
Owen can still continue the fight if you have to retreat DBev, I see no reason he can't control the men ALREADY there, except for the matter of rank issues.

I must back JT and Nathan, not just because they are staff, but because they are right. I know you're sour about how bad your wounds are, but Kriegheld nearly lost his entire halftrack to your mines. JT didn't purchase the mines then sell them, they were legitimately removed by a staff member which means he is able to use them in one battle, this battle. You don't have a leg to stand on (ignore the pun) and you're just clutching at straws. Whatever happened to you in a previous battle is beside the point. The move was legal, and with the fuss you are kicking up over this you're asking for a warning.
I recommend you withdraw your complaint and just let this battle continue. War is not a fair game, and just because you're loosing you're trying to destroy this thread. Give it up.

Guys I'l go with PuNK!s decision! I know he'l probably go with the magority. And JT I would "give him this much lip" I complain whenever something seems unfair and Strumfelder there was no point in you joining in you said exactly the same as the others and your nothing to do with this thread!
Anyway how many of you have had a mod post that your leg has been blown off!
[glow=red,2,300] JT planned on moving across the bridge before noticiing my men. So why would he have planted mines where he wanted to go??? [/glow]
Why does that even matter? -JT
One last point! How can I survive i have lost my leg I'm losing loads of bloody and I'm in a bloody river!

David, can you please keep a civil tongue in your head when you are talking. Right now, and I think most would agree with me, your judgment seems to have gone straight out the window. You have provided no evidence to support your argument that you must have the mines in your profile, and yet there is tonnes of stuff supporting Nathan's decision, which as he stated, is final. If you continue like your are, please expect a warning. Your stampeding over so many rules, it's unbelievable.

First up, thanks Strum and JT for backing me up, and now:
David. This argument is over. The move is legal and shall go ahead. Anymore argument/spamming, and you shall be suspended first for two days, then for two weeks. That is not a threat, it's a promise. By rights, you should be dead. If you had been a bit less arrogant in the past few weeks, you may have come out better. You have no reason to complai, infact, if JT wished, he could probably compain that you should be dead and demand a re-mod. And at the moment, I would quite happily comply. Now, do you understand, or do I have to bold this shit as well?

This is the least of my problems right now and without the facts (number of mines used, emplacements) I can't personally offer a series of help. Other than the following;
- Every 2 mines bought, must incorporate a pair of hands. So, if JT bought 6 say, then he'd need 3 pairs of hands, including his own. In other words. Himself and 2 NPCs. This rule was instated so members can't purchase dozens of mines, place them all over the map and fight solo; It's unrealistic, so for every 2 mines, you need one set of hands.
- Secondly; JT has broken no rules. Everyone has their own means of mod marking or dealing with things, uniquely, but no rule has been broken with JT subtracting the CP, but not adding the image/icon. Personally, I keep member mines in their profile for at least a few days before removing them, so it forewarns others who're observant enough to see the threat, before removing them. Obviously, you can buy bulk mines through a PM to myself or a staff member with shop access. Which when you think about it, doesn't mean you'll have twelve mines in your profile...
Nor does it state anywhere in the rules, you must have the mine icon in your profile, in order to use them. So this rule has not been broken. Because JT bought them, but didn't show the icon. He was just saving me a job of having to remove his icon at a later stage.
- Thirdly. Mines must be placed at the first post. This goes for either side - attacking/defending. All I can ask, is Nathan - did JT send you the map of his mine emplacements during his FIRST post? Anything after would be a rule break, otherwise, he's not breaking no rule here.
- Fourthly. Mines can be placed anywhere on the map. In the dirt, beneath debris, out on a road in the open! Where-ever the mines have been placed, it's up to the moderator to mark whether they've been seen, detected or whatever else by the member. There are PLENTY of precautionary methods you can take to prevent falling victim to a mine....
- Use your common sense, don't take the obvious route. - purchase necessary upgrades from the shop for your vehicle - Allies have a specialty in Mine detections with the Sherman Flail. - Become a better leader! Use your friggen sense and assign a pointman...
I don't want to hear anymore arguing in this thread from here on out. David, if you can not accept these terms, I suggest you either retreat, leave this website or stop whining. I understand the Staff have been trying to subdue this situation with plenty of replies, but in all seriousness, don't feel you have to reply to every moan being made. You have the option to temp' ban or warn members. Use this at your will. Squabbling gets you no where.
Hope that's cleared some things up? No rules have been broken. I don't want to see anymore spamming in this thread from here on out, finish your battle guys. ~Danny

As Owen watched his sites, he saw the SS soldier that appeared right where he expected an attack to come from. Quickly, he breathed out and held his breath in preparation for firing. His scope lined up with the head of the soldier who was keeping down low in the earth, but with bad cover. The trigger went back setting off the small explosion in the gun, propelling the bullet forward. The explosion caused the kick, all too prepared for by the firing shoulder. He followed the familiar routine for three more precisely executed shots.
An explosion filled the battlefield with a painful noise that reverberated as it crossed the vast desert that lay around the small oasis. Owen glanced to his left and noticed the horrible suffering by the brave soldiers. A sergeant flew through the air in many bloodstained pieces, lifeless feathers that flew through the air. The largest piece of the deceased sergeant landed on the top of another sergeant. The second sergeant fell to the ground, stunned by the horrible situation, his body hitting the sand like a large sack of potatoes. The commander of the group flew off the bridge and into the water, a leg ripping off the staff sergeant as if it was being held on by tape. “Holy Fu-,” Owen began to exclaim, before he readied himself for the terrible situation that was about to unfold.
The gun stayed in the same propped up position resting on the side of the building, its owner running out of the bunker with other’s safeties in his mind. The surroundings were a blur as Owen’s single focus was the helping of his ill-fortuned comrades. The corpse of the departed sergeant was easy to remove from the pinned down equal. Owen helped the man up and gave him two shouted words, “Cover Me!”
It was much colder than he would have ever expected as the water slipped around his body, wetting his clothing thoroughly on its way to his body. He brought his head up over the surface, protected by the cover that the broken bridge now supplied. He swam over to his injured friend, and put his arm around the wounded man’s chest from behind, pulling the one-legged man back to the shore. He put the man onto his back and grabbed the arms that dangled over his shoulders, leaning forward for added support. He dashed to the bren carrier using the large debris as cover for the difficult trek, while the sergeant followed behind.
Upon reaching the bren carrier, Owen passed his ill-treated comrade up to the privates in the back of the military machine, a difficult task as it is quite hard to lift a full grown man. Once the commander had gotten out of Owen’s hands, both the sergeant and he climbed up onto the back of the military vehicle. The driver of the vehicle peeled out of the dangerous area, noticing that it was in inverbal retreat. The other men in the back of the vehicle continued shooting at the enemy that had created the horrible situation that had befallen the soldiers. Owen leaned over the commander and shouted out, just as they passed out of the battleground, “Where the hell is the med kit”. And that was the end of the short and horrifying battle that they had just befallen on.

Owen, can you post a map? You've done a lot, and that will help me work out whether or not to cut you short or allow JT a retaliation post if neccesary.
