I've been thinking for a wee while, and there are some questions that have never been clear to me:
The German grenade benefit. If an Allied soldier picked up this German's grenade, would it suddenly become less effective?
With the specific boards, such as Crete, or Op'n Torch, if you have a weapon that doesn't exist yet, say the StG44 in a 1942 battle would you be able to switch it for a weapon fitting the battle for maybe an equal or lower price?
Also, would support be limited in these battles? Say, in Operation Market Garden, if you were at Arnhem the Brit's didn't have access to either Artillery or armour.
Just to clear a few things up if you don't mind, Staff. Thanks

The Allied/Axis benifits may change or be obliterated to save confusion. As of now, if an Allied character picked up a German grenade, the explosive damage would be the same as a German soldier throwing it.
We do try to keep things as historically accurate as possible here, but sometimes that's not always the case. If you have a weapon that's out of date to the battle you're taking part in, then that's fine - should the mod marker or the involved participants wish to abide by such boundries, then alterations can be made in the "battle sign-up area", but the mod marker of that battle must concur with being happy for these changes to incur.
For example; the axis STG44 will become STG40s (or another equivilant). The mod marker must be happy for this change to take place, you just can't state it.
Again, this applies for radiomen. Whether the host of the battle or mod-marker would be willing to allow radiomen to take part, if you really wish to keep realism and so forth...
At the end of the day, it's entirely up to the mod-marker and/or the host of the battle. If it were an epic battle, you could expect the realism undoubtedly, but due to member hosted battles being "member editable", it's entirely up to you guys or the mod-marker's preferences. ~Danny

Thanks for that. While I've got a thread, can I point something out? The Commonwealth ranks "Sergeant Major" and "Quartermaster" (between WO2 and Staff Sergeant) shouldn't be there, as Sergeant Major is either an RSM or CSM already indicated, at Quartermasters are a designation of WO2. The WO2 should have the current Sergeant Major's insignia.
Just something that's niggling at me.
