For example, according to Stephen Ambrose's book "Band of Brothers" from which the series was based on, the Brecourt Manor Assault (Ep. 2) which took all of 15 mins in the program was well over three hours of skirmishing before Dog Company arrived. They had to sqeeuze three hours of shots in to a small amount of time, and, historically, it was 100% accurate on the Allied casulaties, and the guesses of German casualties.
Bloody good series, though.

Do you mean the movie "Talvisota"? It's about the winter war in 1940 between Russia and Finland, isn't it?
I only heard about it, but other people told me that it is a great movie. Good that you listed it here, I nearly forgot about it. I think I'll have to watch it.
