OK, you miserable little worms. This is the big one. Prepare to be tested to the utmost of your abilities.
You have been split into three teams: the Hostages, the Guards and the Freedom Fighters.
The scenario is this:
Corporal Rhodri Williams and Medical Technician Jack Daniels have been taken captive by a large garrison of the enemy and are being steadily guarded by Tom Edwards, Jonathan Jones and John Howard. Williams and Daniels have both been stripped of their weapons and even Daniels' medical kit; they are defenceless against the foe.
However, Tom Edwards, the only guard currently inside the building containing the captives and currently carries the captives' weapons and med kit. If the captives are succesful in overpowering him who knows what may happen?
Guards John Howard and Jonathan Jones are currently keeping a watchful eye for any intruders, Howard being in posession of the keys needed to enter the building. They both have standard Lee Enfields.
Growing worried about their companions' disappearance, Staff Sergeant David Bevan and Sergeant Uberether Dostoevsky are in the immediate area, currently partially covered by dense woodlands. They have the element of surprise on their side as well as Bevan's superior weapon, but are unable to enter the building without the keys under Howard's possession.
Bevan and Dostoevsky have got limited time to free Daniels and Williams due to the nature of the captives' injuries; they have only ten turns until they pass out from "blood loss", rendering the excersise a victory for the guards. However, if Daniels and Williams are succesful in overpowering Edwards to retrieve the med kit, they will be completely healed in one turn and the time limit with vanish.
As in the previous Training Excersise, three shots and you're out. For Daniels and Williams, when fighting in hand to hand combat, you can simply state that you punched or kicked the enemy, as long as no god-modding is involved, for instance, stating that you knocked the enemy into unconsciousness.
So, to sum up, here are the objectives for each individual character (in order of rank).
Staff Sergeant David Bevan
Must rescue the captives from the guards' clutches. Must capture the keys from John Howard to achieve this by "killing" him.
Sergeant Uberethair Dostoevsky
Must rescue the captives from the guards' clutches. Must capture the keys from John Howard to achieve this by "killing" him.
Medical Technician Jack Daniels
Must attempt to overpower Tom Edwards to retrieve your weapon and med-kit to subsequently heal yourself and your companion.
Corporal Rhodri Williams
Must attempt to overpower Tom Edwards to retrieve your weapon and Daniels' medical kit so as to join in the battle at hand.
Private Tom Edwards
Must keep the captives at a distance. You have orders not to kill the hostages and doing so will result in the Guards' defeat. You are also not permitted to leave the building at any time.
Private Jonathan Jones
Must defeat the southern threat from Bevan and Dostoevsky. Is also not permitted to "kill" Daniels or Williams but can move freely.
Private John Howard
Taking the role of Head Guard, you must make sure that the keys under your posession do not fall into enemy hands. You are also not permitted to kill the captives, but can move freely.
Good luck to you all.
The actual excersise will not begin for roughly a month due to Bevan's leave of absence but feel free to post any questions about the upcoming excerise.
