Will had just woke up, he was resting, he looked up and a couple planes had just passed, "Goddang planes, I'm tryin' to get some SLEEP!" He shouted at the planes. He had been separated from the rest of his company during a drop about 3 hours ago.
He had been on the move for two and a half hours, yet everytime he tried to sleep he was interupted once two Kraut troops had come by because their sergeant thought there were Americans over where he was. 'If it werent for this war I would be home with my famly eating nice pork roast," he thought to himself. He tried to fall asleep again beginning to have a headache.
Erik was about to go back. He had been walking for hours and he had found nothing but a pile of animal droppings. His commander had sent him into the forest to find the cargo crate that was supposed to be dropped at the German out-post fifty kilometers north from where he was now. Erik looked up as a couple planes flew above in the air. "Lucky fellows" he thought to himself as he readjusted his gun on his shoulder.
His commander could only afford to send out one man, as it was rumored that Americans were in the area. Erik didn't know if he believed the rumors, he had been in this area for awhile and had seen nothing but large tree's and a farm here and there. He thought it would be different when he had first signed up for the military, he wanted to be defending Germany with his rifle, not by guarding a group of bushes.
Erik was on top of a little knoll when he took a drink from his canteen. He wiped his lips before sealing the cover and putting it back over his shoulder. Just he was about to move on, he saw someone laying on the ground. It was an American soldier sleeping on the forest floor. Erik looked around to make sure he was alone, and when he decided that the soldier was indeed alone he made his move.
Erik slowly moved toward the soldier, slowly and quietly. He made his way tree to tree until he was about fifteen feet away from the soldier. Erik raised his gun and aimed it at the man. He was about to pull the trigger when another plane came overhead. Erik quickly covered himself behind the large tree as the thundering plane would wake the soldier for sure.
The stillness of the forest was suddenly disturbed as a shadowed figure fell from the sky under the deployed canopy of a parachute. The soldier fell through the tree's but the ropes of the parachute got caught on the branches, he came to a sudden stop. A grunt was forced out of his lungs as he bounced in his harness. He hung there for a moment, looking around and trying to get his bearings. He was hanging about four feet above the ground, not a very large drop. He reached up and ripped on the clips that held him in his harness, they came apart with a click and he dropped like a stone, falling to his knees. He got to his feet and collected his equipment from the harness, not much, just a rifle and some ammo. The Americans seemed to think he wouldn't be running into much resistance. Bloody idiots they where.
The Soldier looked around, the forest floor was covered in twigs and leafs, more so now then before due to his arrival, a few leafs where still twirling through the air to rest on the ground. He checked his Weapon, a Lee Enfield. It had survived the less then pleasant landing without a scratch. He loaded a round into the chamber and started walking. If he had been dropped in the right spot, then there was to be a convoy of trucks and tanks to the east of his position about four miles away. It was a long walk, but it would be longer still if he didn't get started. With an annoyed sigh he started off.
He had been walking for close to half an hour when he heard more planes overhead. They must have been dropping more troops and supplies. Every now and then gunshots would be heard from the Alliance and Axis fighters engaging each other. But the skirmishes never seemed to last long. Then something unexpected happened, he heard shouting. Who the hell would be shouting? He moved toward the sound, it was an American language, great, he had found an ally. He picked up his pace, maybe the soldier would know something about the convoy he was meant to join.
He walked into a small clearing, this was where he heard the shouting, he was sure of it. Peering around he spotted something lying on the ground. Maybe a body? Dead or alive he couldn't tell. Carefully he approached the anomaly, unaware of the German soldier hiding in the area. He spotted an American flag on the persons shoulder. He walked around the person. "Oi, wake up." He spoke with a heavy Russian accent, his voice deep and commanding. He gave the person a soft kick on his boot to try and get some sort of reaction. "I am Sergeant Nevoski, wake up!"
Will woke with a start from Nevoski and the planes. He looked around and saw a man who had spoken with a russian accent so he knew it would either be an ally or a german conscript. He woke up saw he was an ally but just to make sure he backed away, "Thunder?" He said waiting for a reply readying his rifle. 'I'm pretty sure he's an ally he said he was a sergeant, but still i gotta take precautions,' he thought to himself.
To the privates amazement he got a reply from behind him and in front of him this made him feel good because he was surrounded but by allies or comrades, Flash! He looked around astonished to see his Platoon leader Lt. Winters hanging in a tree, by his parachute and Sgt. Nevoski standing in front of him. "Private!,don't just look at me get me down", said Winters. "Yes sir," replied the private. Now for a triangle I will take point Private you take back left and Sergeant Uri Nevoski take back right.
The small squad more like a half of a detachment moved through the dodging to and fro cover to every sound made. Then the crack of a Kraut MG42 opened up. "HIT THE DIRT," Yelled Lt.Winters.
(This thread doesnt make sense to me anymore, so im leaving for now)
Erik layed low against the ground as the plane overhead flew by. It was a very loud plane, especially when the noise could bounce off the large mountains surrounding the forest making the sound ten times louder. Erik took a quick peak back at the American soldier on the ground. He seemed to be stirring from the sound. Erik quickly layed low again before tightening the grip on his gun.
He took another look only to see another soldier making his way toward the American. Erik thought it was another American, but upon taking a second glance he knew this man was Russian. Erik listened as the Russian began to talk to the American. This was not good for Erik, two against one odds were never good for anyone.
Erik could now begin to hear noises of combat in the distance. He needed to get out of here. He looked behind him and could only see large tree's. He squinted at the tree's and through the branches he could see large fields leading back toward his encampment. He could get out. Quickly, he slithered his way toward the tree's. He made it and took cover. He looked back at the two soldiers, they didn't see him. He slid under the tree branches and crawled a short distance until he made it the fields. He then began to make his way back under the cover of the long grass.
Will was behind a tree as they were under fire, 'I hate this kinda' thing.' He thought to himself. He got on the ground and started crawling around the trees, on the other side of the tree he was scanning with his rifle, just then e spotted a German soldier looking for a way out of the forest, then he found the gun nest that had been hiding, "Sir, 3 men on an MG42 about 5 wards away and 1 german infantryman about 10 yards away, should i open fire?"
(I deeply apoligise for godmoding above i am kinda new to these forums sry)

"YES, KILL THOSE-SONS-OF-A-BITCHES" Replied Lt.Winters. Winters opened fire taking out the Single Kraut soldier and one man off the nest. And slowly began aproaching the MG42 Nest. When he got within range he yelled, "Fire in the hole," and pulled the pin on his grenade and chucked it over the nest! BOOM! The enemy soldiers' lifeless bodies came rolling over the sandbags. Then Lt.Winters jumped up and yells, "YEEEE-HAAAA thats how the 101st does it!"

Ok..... Winters, I know your knew here so I'll be kind. Just some advice on how to RP here without upsetting people. Firstly, BigMac is right, God-modding is not something that is taken lightly here. But you did say sorry so I'll let it pass.
Secondly, killing people is not as easy as you may think. The best way I think to get the point across on how things operate here is to get you to read through the rules again. Read them carefully, if you still have questions PM me or read some of the posts made by other members. Its all a learning experience. Good Luck.

He didnt really have a clue where he was. Winters had lost the map in the terifying jump. Taking a sip of his old, millitary green, light almunium canteen. Feeling the rush of that cold water sure felt good, but it didnt last long he had drank it all. Checking his gear and sorta cleaning his Enfield rifle began to move on. He instantly hit the dirt when he hears the sound of a Kraut Kar98 bolt Closing Did you hear that? said Winters
Will didn't hear the noise but got down anyway. "Sir, you got any Enfield ammo? I lost most of mine when I landed." Waiting for a reply he took of his helmet, 'Man I hate wearin that thing.' He put his helmet back on and started looking around.
"Yes private" said Lt.Winters As he tossed Will a few stripper clips. 'Its a good thing i rought extra ammo' Winters waited a pretty long while hoping that the noise he heard would never be heard again. He eventually decided to just move on. Checking his gear he got ready to move out. Winters opened his canteen and chewed him self out for drinking it all 'That was stupid of my dumb self for doing that should have saved some' "Any ideas in what direction we should go?" said Winters
Will grabbed the ammo and put it in his ammo belt, "Sorry, sir, no idea." Will watching the Lt. take out his canteen he just remembered he had one. 'I hate it.'
"Well thats ok private i think i can remember that our only chance is to continue aproximtly South east towards St. Lo" said Winters Winters had known that St.lo was South east of there drop zone and as the briefing officer he could remember a bit. Winters had remembered that if they did come apon St.lo there was a hill outside of town that they could be able to see the whole town, thus they could figure out if it was safe or not. "Sound good private?" said Winters
