"Wo leben sie?" asked Herr Joe after a few moments of conversation with Herr Daniel. Adelheid's mouth formed a word in German, but no sound came out, the girl pausing for a moment. It was a question hard for her to answer...simply because, where did she live?
"Nirgendwo. Ich habe nicht ein Haus, aber Onkel Mac und Onkel Stephen lassen mich, zusammen mit einem sehr wichtigen Mann hier bleiben…das ich denke, dass er ein OC…angerufen wird?" replied the girl, looking confused. Her head tilted to the side again, and her hand gently grabbed Silber's head, squeezing it slightly for comfort. The awkward feeling that had bubbled up when she answered...it was unfamiliar. If it kept up, there was a chance Adelheid would slip back under that neutral, stone-faced veil she donned whenever the situation proved too overwhelming. Beneath it, she could think clearly, and force back anything that might make her act strangely or say the wrong thing.
"Ich wünsche, dass ich Ihnen eine bessere Antwort geben könnte, aber ich nicht kann."
Suddenly, someone entered the room, and Herr Daniel yelled at him in that foreign language again. Adelheid flinched slightly, whirling around to see if it was a nurse, but quickly calmed down when she saw that is was just a man with a suitcase.
Oddly enough, he left the suitcase behind. Adelheid raised an eyebrow, curious as the man just left without warning -
Feathery wings flashed, and raven hair and dark eyes glinted in the dim light of the hospital. A divine figure suddenly stood in the middle of the room, holding his hands up, a concerned, stern look on his face.
Adelheid gave a tiny gasp as as a pang of dread wound rose up in the pit of her stomach. She blinked, and the figure was gone again, a chill winding down her spine. The girl gave a tiny whimper, frightened by what she had just seen.
"W-Was..." said she softly, swallowing hard. That...that couldn't have been a good thing...The way the Rhys man - if it even was him - looked at her, it told her that something was very, very wrong...
+++++++++++++++++++++++
OOC - Ooh, spooky. ^.^
Translations:
Nowhere. I do not have a home, but Uncle Mac and Uncle Stephen let me stay here, along with a very important man...I think he is called an OC...?
I wish I could give you a better answer, but I cannot.
W-What...
