That’s fine Chris Matherson, glad to have you back! Also, I’m sorry if any outcomes may seem a little drastic, or even not as effective as you would’ve like them to be, but I’m currently re-reading through a whole heap of posts to make some verdicts on the situation.

I’ll start with the Axis Effect, seeing that Justin Kempster made his move first.
Axis Effect:

• Justin Kempster has successfully cleaned the jeep & maintained his wounded in the vehicle, as well as taking point in driving the jeep bare handed himself for his onward stunt.
  
  
• The mounted rear gun has also successfully provided heavy bombardments of firing on the enemy ditches (that wasn’t completely dug) to suppress the Allies into making less counter-firing towards the Germans.
  
  
• Justin Kempster has also ‘just’ avoided being injured from the frontal assault, as the main brush of fire from the Allied Position was aimed onwards towards the Jeep’s Gunner - not the flanks, as Captain Matherson began withdrawing some of his troops in the process.
  
  
• The Jeep’s Mounted Gunner has also incurred another casualty, as Private Browning endured a fatal wound to the chest from his ‘exposed’ retreat out of the foxhole, dangerously missing Private White in the process.
  
  
• Justin Kempster’s Wounded male has also Passed out from a lack of Attention in the back of the jeep, dangerously bleeding from his leg wound, needing critical attention fast.
  
  
• Overall; Justin Kempster has incurred one casualty on the Allied Opposition and managed to keep a suppressive fire on the enemy, without being injured himself.
  
  
  Allied Effect:
  
  
• Captain Matherson has begun the withdrawal of his men, encountering one casualty in the process.
  
  
• Crawford has also been successful, in his three shots, to render the enemy machinegun out of use (From a unorthodox shot to the barrel) that ironically, injured the Axis Mounted Jeep Gunner’s shoulder, dislocating it and knocking him from off the jeep in the process, as the barrel imploded from the pressure of it being damaged. Sadly, this damaging incident came too late, as the death of Private Browning occurred a couple of seconds before.
  
  
• Captain Matherson’s burst of Submachine-gun fire has also suppressed Justin Kempster behind the jeep and killed one of his flanking soldier’s dead in their tracks, as four to five piercing lead bullets ripped through the young male’s torso.
  
  
• Captain Matherson has also incurred an injury to himself, as the KIA Axis Male’s partner (as they travelled in pairs - remember) was able to take a pot-shot round into Captain Matherson’s bicep. A flesh wound, but devastating none-the-less, as Chris Matherson is now rendered INJURED.
  

OVERALL:[/B]

Justin Kempster has lost 1 soldier and 2 more are wounded. The Jeep’s Rear gun is disabled, but still fully functional in driving.

Chris Matherson has lost 1 soldier and incurred 1 wounded. Captain Matherson is now wounded himself (flesh wound) and may only be at full health again when the thread has ended.

Lieutenant Brentwood & Shvitrikgail have caused no casualties or injuries, but still remain on the Axis Rear, capable of ambushing the enemy and flanking them.

--- Justin Kempster & Chris Matherson are both advised to retreat at this rate, as either side have incurred wounded and casualties. Staying in the thread may cause more deaths/injuries, but may also allow you to earn more CP depending on winning-status.

Justin grabbed the beer that he was saving for for that night with his men. He had promised them a true celebration for one of his privates birthday. Now that private was laying on the ground bleeding to death from a gun shot wound.

He grabbed the soldier from the back of the vehicle and popped off the cap on the beer with one hand quickly. He had the soldier chug the beer while Justin and his men fired on the enemies positioning.

Justin grabbed the beer bottle, a hose from the vehicle, and siphoned gasoline from the gas tank into the bottle. He tore off his socks, and shoved it into the beer bottle. He lit it and threw it toward the closest enemies position. Hoping to light some on fire.

Justin grabbed his few and sparing soldiers and made a final charge to the enemies defense! Justin hopped back into the drivers seat and supplied cover with the vehicle for his men to advance. They easily made it around the fire, covered by smoke and flames. They then all charged screaming and firing, coming up on the enemy quickly!

Justin could see the men on the right flank begin to charge as well, not covered by the smoke but giving Justin and his men on the left good crossfire on the enemy from behind.

"There is no cover to coward behind now. We will flush you out and kill every one of you for the misdeeds you have done to my men! May god be our witness" Justin thought to himself as he drove the jeep straight for the enemy, hearing gunshots all around him from his men firing while charging, seeing the windshield and door being splattered with bullets.

Justin was driving slow so his men could keep up for some time, but soon as he broke out from the cover of the smoke and his men captured close combat, Justin slammed on the gas and drove the vehicle right into the enemy. He jumped minutes before and started firing and screaming with his men. Wanting nothing but to kill the enemy and their scandalous fashions!

The hammer on the Thompson kept clicking softly after the ring of fire had ceased, and Chris saw through the lifting fog the German soldier ripped to shreds by the onslaught of lead, kept upright by the force of it, before collapsing into the dirt. But his victory was short-lived. A crack sounded beside him and he felt a hot flush rush past, as he ducked down again behind cover. At first, he didn’t feel anything, but then nothing turned into a dull throb, and then the throb turned into a pain, and then that pain turned into a mild searing.

Chris glanced down and saw blood dribbling out of his left arm in throbs. The hot lead had seared across it, gouging out a chunk of flesh as it passed through cloth and skin and passed out the other side. The bullet had quarterized some of the wound, but hardly enough to stop the blood.

He groaned and tried to push the pain out of his head, but only then realized the momentary cease in enemy fire. Oh bugger…

”Gordon! Aim for that last soldier over there! Yes! The bastard that shot me!! Crawford!...” Fire leapt into the air in front of MacDonald’s bunker, and he ducked down behind cover. The stubborn soldier was still defending Cameron’s unconscious body beside him with everything he had. If something didn’t happen soon, he would end up another casualty.

”Crawford! With me!!” He smacked the soldier on his arm with the tip of his Thompson as he dropped the spent magazine to the ground and grabbed a second one painfully with his injured arm.

White had taken cover again, behind a thicket of trees, which was far better than his half-built bunker, and returning fire through the fog. Chris heard the engine of the jeep rumble to life again, and he knew he didn’t have much time before the bullets began to fly again through the hazy smoke of the Molotov c0cktail bomb. Matherson leapt up and sprinted for the large rock Browning and White had made their bunker in front of, with Crawford right behind him.

He dived behind the bounder, and Crawford landed beside him as he heard the jeep roar through the flames with a whoosh! ”Keep doing what you’re best at Crawford!!” And the Private rested his rifle beside the solid stone and opened fire at the half-exposed on-comers in slow, methodical, planned shots.

Chris did the same, although his aim was off cause of his arm, so he ended up just spraying the driver’s seat of the jeep with thundering rounds. The Captain had put himself closer to MacDonald to try and save him, and also closer to the enemy. White was somewhere behind them, firing as well, with Browning (he assumed), and Gordon was exchanging fire with the last German rifleman on the right in a one-on-one duel as the Nazi sprinted towards his bunker.

”This is it Cameron!! There’s no retreating from here!! Kill or be killed!! This is it!!”…

OOC: I am utterly astonished; you guys are really putting up a fight and neither is backing down. Doubt my character could change the tides much, but I’m still in the thread.

After Lieutenant Brentwood’s daring cross passed the open dirt road terrain, which presumably the fog helped him do so without being seen by any outstanding enemy soldiers, Liam soon crushed his elbows against the soft dirt and managed to prone himself backwards onto his knees and heels, gathering just enough force beneath his feet to scuttle forwards in a low stance behind the daunting foliage.

Sizzling and sparking flints of light were emitting all throughout the fogged terrain before him, so many positions being revealed, yet so little baring to who was friend nor foe? Lieutenant Brentwood had to get closer, just that little bit closer - enough to see the crimson blood and whites of the soldier’s eyes before him. No, the Lieutenant wasn’t taking any chances at riskily hitting friendly units, but it didn’t take much common sense either to realize who was on ‘what side’ as the rearing jeep thundered it’s engine and fluent foreign tongues seeped out of the darkness now and again.

As Liam Brentwood slowly arose his posture to take easy and careful steps forwards, he couldn’t help but glance back now and again, wondering if the friendly ‘Commie’ was still hot on his tails to follow? That was if the Russian was still alive. Liam had no time to spare, he knew the climax of the battle was arising and either side could be shattered at a moment’s notice, hopefully not the Allied.

Silhouetted figures soon caught the Lieutenant’s attention as he dropped to one knee behind a paralyzed piece of log, laying lifelessly against the ground, providing just enough cover and leverage for his weapon to rest for more accurate shots. Abruptly setting his Lee Enfield against the hardened grain of the war-ridden strand of log, the Lieutenant clunked the bolt back and twisted the chamber for another round, already losing count to how many he had left before reloading. Careless? No, it only made Liam all the more intent on hitting his targets, breaking the barrier down to his enemies catching him out within the midst of him reloading.

He took precious aim on the distant figures, that seemingly began to ‘charge’ forwards on a quick advance. “It’s now or never dear lad” Liam thought to himself briefly, as he squinted his left eye and closed his right eye completely, searing his line-of-sight down the barrel end, slowly following the moving target trailing along the terrain, before clunking a round off towards it and abruptly changing his posture and direction to suddenly clunk another round off towards the back of another target within the midst of the fog.

The Lieutenant prayed his shots only hit, knowing fully well he had the best advantage out of everyone on the battlefield at that precise moment. He wasn’t suppressed by fire, nor was he near any immediate danger, as the Nazis backs plumped up and down before him, giving him free rein on his victims - apart from the jeep that seemed to have sped off throughout a thick smog of smoke towards the Allied position. Either way, the situation didn’t seem to be in his hands to control, as the two battling sides clashed.

Justin ran behind the vehicle, and all of his men did as well. The chunk of metal plowed right into their unfinished bunker, giving Justin and his men full cover from both sides now. Justin waved his hand around in the air and yelled at his troops to regroup.

The first thing was to make sure this bunker was clear. Justin looked throughout it rapidly and looked for other soldiers. Justin ordered his men "Kill them all! Their wounded, their healthy, kill them ALL!". The men searched the region quickly looking for any wounded or stranded enemy soldiers.

The right flank was still being held down, but now Justin had perfect cover and could easily catch the enemy soldier from behind. Justin tapped the soldier next to him and pointed to the enemy soldier stranded on the right flank. "On my count, shoot him. Make sure you have him well sighted" Justin said as he shouldered his karbine and stared down the sight. The long barrel plained out to the enemy soldiers back. Justin said "Fire!" and pulled the trigger.

Justin watched as the right flank was relieved and the stranded soldier retreated. Justin knew what he was doing. They've been receiving small firing from behind somewhere. The troop was going to cause better distraction and/or inform our comrades that they were giving friendly fire. Whichever it was.

The soldiers were sprawled and picking off any possible advancements from the enemies post. Justin looked around for what he could possible do to just end this horrific battling. The fire was blazing, and Justin knew they would have to end this quick and get out of here or they would all be burnt alive. Justin had an idea to give another advance!

Justin grabbed the remaining shells from the machine gun that was sitting in the back of the truck. He told Leon "I'm going to throw this into the fire to cause a distraction. When the bullets start exploding, I want you to charge and take cover behind the boulder those enemies are posted in. It will give you just as much cover as they have, but I will be back here shooting anyones head off who peaks out and tries to take a shot at you." The soldier nodded and lifted one leg to get ready to sprint. Justin yelled at all of the troops "Put on your bayonets and follow suit with Leon, make them pay for their crimes they have committed against your country!!"

Justin threw the machine gun shells far into the fire as he could. He picked up his karbine and looked through the blown out windows of the jeep. The first crack sounded dull, but soon it sounded like 10 machine gunners firing at once. Justin stared down his barrel looking for any soldier to look out and see what was going on. The shapes of his moving men in crouch position toward the enemy filled the sidelines of his sights. Justin shot anyone who dared peek over that rock and his men laid silently against it soon as they arrived.

Justin screamed at the top of his lungs at the soldiers "KILL THEM NOW!!!" Justin watched as they jumped over the boulder with bayonets in charge and rounds and flashes of shots and blood splattered the scene.

Continuing to take a couple of rounds towards the Germans, he began to think that now was probably the best time to move to another position to the left of them. To the left, Szudek began looking around as the gunfire continued to blast from the soldier’s barrel, he began to see a couple of good trees that he could probably use for cover. With his camo cover remaining over him, he quickly crept through the muddy floor as the fog continued to remain strong for him. Hoping that no one would see him, he continued his way, but every time he was stop at a tree, Szudek would stop incase he was being fired upon. ”I don’t think they’ve saw me yet.” Szudek thought to himself as he inhaled a large amount of oxygen. Crawling again around large shrub bushes and large rocks, he continued to look around.

Szudek then took his rifle begun to aim it among the fog, looking for any figures that were nearby, but two trees were standing in front of the area where supposedly the Germans remain to fight. ”D**n it. I can’t see anything with these large trees in the way.” Szudek thought to himself with his anger rising yet again towards the Germans. Once again and for the final time, he began crawling on the forest floor, hoping to not take on any fire from the Axis or Allies since the fog was so thick, they probably couldn’t really tell who from each other possibly. Taking refuge behind a tree log that seemed to be cut down, he peaked over to see if he was in the right position. Barely, Szudek could see the mound where both the British soldier and himself were at, meaning that he probably was in a good flanking positions.

Peaking over the broken down tree with his rifle aimed, he started to see a couple of figures that were taking over behind trees about fifty yards away from him at the most, probably even closer, but Szudek couldn’t really tell due to the fog yet again. Scoping through the end of his rifle, he began to feel like pulling the trigger. It was then he begun to hear something coming through the forest. Scanning left to right, worried out of his mind on what it could have been, but then he begun to see a jeep zooming by towards their enemy, the Allies. It seemed that the Germans had begun to follow closely behind. Szudek couldn’t help, but to make a large grin on his pale face. Quickly standing back up, he begun to dash through the trees, but remaining out of the German’s sight.

It was official, the Germans had begun their advancement attack, but in a very risky kind of way. ”Fools, that’s a good way in getting yourself killed.” Szudek had thought to himself as he passed through the end of the forest, but he started to head behind a tree that was nearby that was over looking the open area where the fog had begun to thin itself out, making it easier to see anything now. The Germans had begun to take cover behind the damaged vehicle. Quickly lowering himself in a prone position, he had begun to quickly aim towards the Germans, as they seemed too distracted, behind the tree. Pulling the trigger, he popped a couple of bullets towards the Germans, hoping that it would hit one of them. Then came the unthinkable, the Germans had begun to scream out and charge towards the Allies for close ranged combat.

Grunting in disgust, Szudek continued to take shots towards the Germans that were trying to attack the Allies in order to take over the area. Will this battle ever end where we can just kill everyone? Possibly a miracle from God will come soon enough…hopefully.

Chris saw the advancing Germans running at him. As they ran across the clearing towards them, they were exposed for those vital few seconds where they were without cover. Chris gritted his teeth through the pain and fired more accurate bursts of three rounds towards the men, lining them up down the iron sights as he did so. ”Knock them down now Crawford!! They’re in the open!!” But the Private had already noticed that and was firing his rifle at the running Germans.

Matherson’s Thompson clicked softly, indicating it was out of ammunition, and he ducked down and fumbled for a new magazine, reloading his sub-machine gun. Chris lost track of Gordon and MacDonald in that instant, he figured they were still fighting in their positions, and they still may have been. He sighted White returning to them from wherever he had been, using the rock for cover as he approached. He ducked down behind a thick, fallen log and loaded a quick magazine into his rifle.

Everything just seemed to happen at once then. Crawford ducked behind cover and hurriedly, smoothly, clunked the magazine into the top of the Lee Enfield, loading it instantly. Chris’s Thompson loaded successfully. He thought he heard something smack against the rock on the other side. Something soft, not solid like a bullet. He glanced back at White and saw him look up in horror at the top of the rock. He took aim and fired two shots at the Germans before Chris saw them jumping over the top.

The Captain rolled over and aimed up at the Germans with his Thompson. The sub-machine gun was devastating in close-range, and these soldiers were almost at point-blank range. He sprayed blindly across the top of the rock as the soldiers leapt across it, spewing lead into their lines until he felt the hammer hitting nothing but air.

Chris drew his long knife from its sheath and leapt at the closest man as he dropped beside him, and Crawford drew his own knife, White firing a few shots before slipping on his bayonet and jumping into the fight himself. He parried and slashed, cut and ducked; it was all a blur, a horrible, gory, red blur as steel, blood and shouts of adrenaline and agony rushed past him. But he couldn’t stop, not now, not here, or it was all over. ”Repel!! Fight!! And die!!” And he stabbed again…

Okay, this has been one thrilling RP and in some context, daring to say the least. Remember guys, it Is possible to die on this board and I advise everyone to be careful; although dying on the board is rarely seen - I’d always give warnings, just be careful.

Also, I appologise if I‘ve missed anything crucial, but I‘ve just had to re-read several times through five posts - most of which has been cancelled out by your own actions on the situation. In a sense, you‘ve bickered the outcome of the ‘small’ scenarios you’ve made.

Axis Effect:

• Justin’s daring attempt in advancing on the Allied position has run smoothly, witih the extra help of smoke (from the Molotov thingytail & fog) to the extra provided cover of the stubborn grid-iron keep.
  
  
• Using an Allied Bunker for cover has also provided a great deal of defensive positioning.
  
  
• The Axis also surprisingly sustained no casualties on their advance to the bunker.
  
  
• Using the Jeep’s Rear Mounted ammo for a distractive cause in the fire, has indeed created a loud amount of noise - after a sustained warming period on the hard cased shells. Although the bullets caused much noise and controversy to blending the advancing troops sprint onwards, several stray bullets did manage to conquer dead a jeep’s tyre. Rendering the vehicle into a sloppy state - harder to drive on rough terrain.
  
  
• Justin Kempster’s ‘THREE’ healthy men prowling over the boulder for their close ranged attack, has also gained a gruesome and uncontroversial movement on behalf of Lieutenant Kempster’s tactics.
  - Thankfully for Lieutenant Kempster, his remaining men did reach the boulder without injury from the onslaught of the Thompson SMG nor Captain Matherson’s soldier’s firing; mainly because of the fog/smoke & deafening racket of the ammunition sparking alight in the short distance - rendering any subject’s senses into a mash for a brief moment. Shock.
  
  
• Although a Grenade would’ve been useful here -- Justin Kempster’s men toppled over the top without knowledge to how many laid fit within the ‘reserve’ Allied Bunk. Justin Kempster’s men were successful in ‘stabbing’ and WOUNDING Private Crawford (on the Allied side) via the bayonet, as well as killing Private Gordon who killed by a downwards lunge from one of Justin Kempster’s men, proving the laws of gravity in a gruesome action and ‘intoxicated’ movement - from the quick downing of a beer, boosting his morale temporarily. McDonald was also WOUNDED in a close range lunge by the bayonet, into the stomach… which may be a fatal wound, if no retreat happened soon.
  
  
  Allied Effect:

[/li][li] Liam & Szudek have successfully made rear-flank firing, but with no effect.

[/li][li] Captain Matherson & his men were not successful in shooting their forthcoming targets, as the thick clambering smog of smoke and dreary fog provided enough cover for the advancing units - not to mention the loud racketing noise of gun-fire in the short distance to their bunk, which would’ve instinctively shocked Captain Matherson and his men into staying low for a brief moment.

[/li][li] Captain Matherson was on the other hand, successful in killing one of the Axis Soldier’s with his Thompson SMG from the close quarter combat - rendering the unit instantly dead, before he could do anymore damage.

[/li][li] Private White (one of Chris’s men) was also successful in quickly shooting another Axis unit in the shoulder, rending one of the two remaining enemy units wounded - Until Captain Matherson was able to pull-off a sharp move using his knife in killing the unit up-what instantly. Although this sharp action killed the unit, it also injured Captain Matherson’s arm even further, rendering him into sheer pain…

Good Battle! May i just add, Lieutenant Brentwood had Valuable Recon/Intel on him - i'm sure you would've been awarded immensly for getting that, but nevermind. Everyone performed fantastically.
