This was a difficult one to mark because of the large chance that there would be retaliation. I have tried to mark the allied soldier's actions as well as possible, so please don't complain if you think this is unfair or one-sided.
The following actions have been made;
Corporal Hofmann:
Leading his men on a 'surprise' attack up the hell, all of his men reached the top safetly, but after that the problems began...
The allied privates in the house had heard and seen the enemy taking the building very close to them and one of them fired a multiple shots at a German private who he could see through a window. One bullet imbedded itself in the German's shoulder, lodging against a piece of bone.
Before Krieghelds men had time to react, Adolphus arrived and started attacking the enemy.
The three British (American?) soldiers inside the building were all training their rifles either at the windows facing the large building, or else at the front door. So, when the front door was pushed open the infiltraters were met with a hail of bullets, killing one of them and injuring the other in the thigh (Two bullets went straight through).
Both of them probably would have been killed if it wasn't for the fact that the back door was pushed open at the same time and the two men and Adolphus quickly put the enemy resistance to rest. However, they only succeeded in killing one. Another one was hit twice in the chest and is only barely allive, but unconscious.
the last one has only a minor graze on his arm because he was mostly overlooked in the fire-fight and he took a quick dive out of a large window and his currently shouting his head off for reinforcements.
Because the driver of the Blitz Truck was mostly ignored he has suddenly blacked out from a mixture of bloodloss and shock.
OOC: Now, I've attempted to take Adolphus prisoner; if I've done wrong in this attempt, Dan/PuNK, please inform me and I'll revise my post accordingly. Map coming soon, bare with me.
Nicholas turned to Norrington, his heart beating heavily in his ribcage. The roar of a vehicle, the scream of gunfire and then...silence. His men had died at the hands of the attackers; how many he was not sure, but that was irrelevant. The fact was his men had died and now there would be no mercy for the enemy. The Germans seemed to beckon annhilation with open arms. Nicholas grimaced firmly. Well, let them. Only it would be them who would die in a puddle of their own blood. That much he owed to the boys who had already lost their lives.
He signalled to the corporal and led him silently through the murky terrain at an even pace, determined not to let the enemy discover their location. Nicholas was seasoned enough to know that the element of surprise was invaluable in a battle situation - after all, it had worked well enough for the Germans. How would they like a taste of their own medicine, he wondered.
At last, the two arrived at the clammy wall of the bunker, the stench of warm blood heavy in the air around them. Two guards stood outside the entrance, young privates, it seemed. The Lieteunant could tell that the corporal was in a state of mild panic and turned to him confidently, putting a hand on his grubby shoulder.
"These men are cowards; German conscripts," he whispered. "They are scared of the dark and shoot at their own shadows. They will not be any trouble; come,"
Norrington nodded and swallowed roughly, before unslinging his rifle. Nicholas jerked his thumb backwards.
"Move up towards the North," he whispered. "Pick off the other two who seem to be standing ildly by as we men do battle. Go,"
Norrington nodded determindely, and darted up towards the side of the bunker, ready to open fire on the foe. Nicholas forced himself to concentrate as his finger hovered over the beckoning trigger of his Sten.
"Open fire!" he whispered to himself, although no one could hear him. Nicholas heard a single shot echo in the near distance and could tell that his young comrade had began to fire. Nicholas took this as a signal to begin his own attack. His targets would be distracted by the shooting up north and would be unable to see Nicholas' ruthless harrying from the East. Not until it was too late.
Norrington, who was well known amongst the 3ID as an extremely skilled marksman, sent a further three powerful shots from his Lee Enfield, ripping through the air like a knife towards the unsuspecting enemy, one after the other mechanically, as a single bead of sweat appeared on his wary brow. He suddenly saw to his delight, the one able man within the building join him in his attack as he too shakily sent his entire clip flying towards the enemy he too was attempting to rip to shreds.
Nicholas waited a mere second after the young NCO had began to fire before too splintering the harsh air with his own bullets. The Lieteunant's Sten had guided him through harsh times and he trusted it more than any comrade, commander or no.
The Englishman could almost see the whites of their eyes as he sent shot after shot screaming towards the two guards. The attack had come so fast and so thick; Nicholas doubted whether they had even seen what had hit them. And, seeing as what had hit them was roughly the power of a sledgehammer smashing into their skulls, perhaps that was fortunate for them.
With the immediate enemy taken care of, Nicholas pushed forward and took up a defensive stance against the powerful wall of the bunker, the figure of the enemy Sergeant visible around the corner. Nicholas checked his weapon and decided that re-loading was the best option; twenty-three of the thirty bullet clip had been unleashed on the two guards and he was confident that he would need a fresh clip to rid the earth of the Sergeant. One less bastard in the world, he reasoned.
Following a quick reload, Nicholas aimed directly at the enemy's lower stomach and scrotal area, a wide target, almost impossible to miss thanks to the strong position he had secured. A few shots embedded in the man's stomach would either kill him or pull him out of the fighting. Besides, thought Nicholas, he hadn't secured a captive for quite some time.
The Lieteunant opened fire and sent a sea of bullets slicing through the air in a bid to riddle the man's body with his stones of death. He had always preferred the silent and deadly method of killing rather than charging in all guns blazing but needs must. Besides, the enemy would hardly be in a position to complain about their passing after they were dead.
****I am attempting to take Adolphus hostage***
After sending almost twenty vicious shots flying towards the enemy NCO, Nicholas charged forward and slammed his SMG into the skull of the enemy and kicked his form as he fell. He gave the body a final kick for good luck and stamped on his fingers in a bid to splinter the bone. With the figure at his mercy, he removed his rifle and tossed it aside before smashing his elbow into his face. Nicholas removed a coil of rope from his pack, and, after viciously butting the helpless figure once more in the face with his weapon, he bound the figures hands and feet with the sturdy material. He strode over to where the German's weapon lay and hurled it into the distance, where it landed with a comforting thud.
"You'd better stay where I you are until I come back," the Lieteunant hissed, surprised at the malice in his tones. "Or you will not survive the night, that much is certain,"
He doubted that the German could speak English but if he did not undertand the words then the tone of his voice would be more than enough to make him quake in fear. Nicholas gave the pathetic figure one last thump in the stomach and shoved one of his gloves into his mouth to prevent him from calling for help before leaving his side.
With the enemy dealt with, Nicholas aimed his weapon through the cracked window and sent a further three shots whistling through the night towards any surviviors of Norrington's onslaught. He then proceeded to double back and made his way back to the woodlands where he had begun.
He saw that Norrington was already there, caked in mud and dried blood, alongside two shaken privates. Dafydd Lynn seemed in good enough condition, a minor wound to his arm but the second, a certain Golding, was in a bad way. It seemed that following the defeat of the second set of guards, Norrington and Lynn had had to carry the poor man back to their original position and he looked barely alive. All of the man's hope rested in the hands of David and his Radio Operator; calling in a squad of Medics - even one would suffice - would be the only thing that would save him and even then his chances didn't look great. But, despite this, Nicholas could not fight the urge to smile broadly.
"Well done, gentlemen," he whispered. "Well done,". He nodded towards his men fondly.
"Norrington, keep an eye out on the North, Lynn, the South. I'll cover the West. We can't have them sneaking up on us, can we?" Nicholas breathed deep and smiled grimly. "The battle's not over yet,"

Rhys, I can not mod this until you provide a clearer map. I am able to understand some of it from your post, but all the lines on the map are really confusing and they make it so I can't see anything.
I know it's pretty confusing, but here's the gist of it:
Nicholas and Corporal Norrington push forward up to the building and split up; Nicholas goes South and Norrington goes North.
Norrington sends a series of shots towards the northern guard while Nicholas almost empties his clip towards the two southerners. Norrington is assisted by the able bodied man within the house, who then makes his way towards the woodlands while Norrington re-enters the house and carries the badly wounded man out and into the woodlands himself.
At roughly the same time, Nicholas opens fire on Adolphus Hoffman and attempts to take him captive, beating him viciously and tying him up. He then takes up his post at the window and shoots at the guard if he is still alive after Norrington's attack (if not, void that action).
Nicholas doubles back to the woodlands, leaving Hoffman tied up and weaponless on the floor and joins Norrington, Lynn and the badly wounded Golding at the trees.

Moderation Post
Oh, Rhys there are some very unrealistic parts here. Oh and I did mention it in my post that the slightly injured soldier in the house took a jump out the window. I did include it in my map, but the movement line didn't really show up. :/
First Lieutanant Ealing:
I've read the top part of your post again and again, but I keep seeing the same mistake you made. You say you went over to the bunker wall. Then, you say that you see the two enemy privates guarding the door. For that to happen you would have to have been at the corner. So, then you start giving orders to your Corporal while at the corner, in full view of the enemy. I could just say that you had barely seen the privates while running there, or through a window, but later before you start firing you don't give any indication that you have moved an inch since your convo with the Corporal. This is very bad for you.
Both the enemy Privates were staring into the room, either at the dead bodies, or else looking out the window the injured enemy private escaped out of. So, they didn't see Lieuteant Ealing walk/run up, but they did hear the talking. One of them looked in the direction with his rifle raised and gave a shout as he saw the British soldier. He fired once, the bullet hitting Ealing on his hip bone, before deflecting away into the darkness: a very sore, but not serious injury. The lieutanant ducked around the corner away from more bullets.
When the corporal started shooting a moment later he did swing himself around the corner and start shooting, but by then the two Privates were training their rifles on the corners and he only let off a short burst before retaliating fire from the Germans forced him back.
None the less, three bullets from his Sten blew one of the Germans off his feet. He has two bullet holes (Bullets both came out the other side) in his right thigh and another bullet has shattered the shin of his left leg. As you may have guessed, this unit will not be able to walk without assistance for the rest of the thread and he will probably be in too much pain if someone tried to help him walk.
Corporal Norrington fired a multitued of shots at the already injured German, which finished him off. However, Adolphus heard his shots and saw the body fall, so when Norrinton appeared around the corner he was shoved backwards by a bullet piercing his arm above his right elbow. He stumbled back around the corner to his wounded CO.
After their failed attack the three soldiers (The third is the one that jumped out the window) helped each other to the position they would have gone back to had the attack suceeded.
The last part of your post was voided due to the mistake you made at the start, but that part would have been voided anyway because of how unrealistic it was. Basically what you said you had done there was: Step around a corner and start firing madly at the nearest enemy. Right, that isn't too bad. Then, ignoring the two other enemies standing just metres away and the halftrack just beside another building, he charge out and make sure Adolphus is dead by smashing him with your weapon. OK, that's incredibly stupid. Then, you start beating him up, then you take out some rope and seemingly tie him up in a matter of seconds. Then you take the time to talk to him for a bit, then go back. Eh?

OOC: I have tried to capture krigheld and my men have tried to put him about a foot in front of the Eastern door lieing on the floor under Bevan's firing. I have caled Jack daniels as a reinforcment.
David stared at the building to the north where he had heared a Halftrack and a dying scream. He was sure it was a British soldier who had been killed as he would have been easily outnumbered by the men in the Halftrack. That was where David would strike next.
David briefed his squad "Private your in the driving seat. Harper your on the Vickers K. You two will drive up past the Northern building and take out any enemies after you hear my grenade move as fast as possible. Sergeants your with me".
David and the two Sergeants dropped down from the jeep and jogged while crouching towards the Northern building. When they neared they slowed down and walked painfully slowly.
The three reached the wall and David his beside the door. He necked his blue bottle and waited a few seconds. he then slowly drew a grenade hoping not to make any noise and silently removed the pin. he cooked the grenade for three seconds before hurling it powerfully into the room.
After the explosion his two companions stormed into the building moving along different sides of the room and fired a single burst into the chests of the enemy Privates and then attempting to suppress the enemy Privates outside the room with three bursts of fire. David sprayed six rounds at the legs of the German officer. He then began firring the rest of his clip in suppression fire towards the gunner on the enemy Halftrack.
David paused for a few seconds from firing giving Evans (Sergeant on Northern side of room) the chance to swing the but of his Thomson into the face of the German officer. He also attempted to drag him out of the way of Davids fire which continued seconds later like piercing the short silence like a knife through butter. Evans attempted to push the German officer underneath Davids fire while Mathews removed the officers weapon and the two Sergeants crawled out of the room with a shower of hot automatic fire whizzing over their heads.
Sergeant Mathews moved outside to the south eastern corner of the building his Thomson reloaded ready to deal with any enemies he saw. Sergeant Bevan ceased firing and quickly reloaded while Evans trained his weapon on the enemy officer. when David had finished the two took up positions by the door and readied themselves to fire at anyone who emerged from the opposite door. They both kept an eye on the German officer who was now their captive. He knew that the enemy would not be able to use artillery or grenades on their position for fear of hitting their officer and might even surrender themselves.
"If you try to move I will shoot you understand" said David loudly to the officer.
"German soldiers I have your Captain as prisoner throw down your arms come into this room and lie down with your hands in the air and you will be spared" shouted David loudly a huge grin spreading across his face.
As soon as Private Canterbury heared the grenade explode shattering the silence he drove quickly towards the northern side of the building knowing that Davids attack would distract any enemies there.
As the jeep skidded around the corner Corporal Harper sent ten powerful shots from the Vickers K cleaving through the air towards a lone enemy Private. He then fired another burst of four rounds to make sure he was finished. Private had parked the jeep so he was completely in cover from enemy fire while Corporal Harper could still watch and guard the flank.
Madog lifted the receiver of his radio equipment as he watched three figures moving away from the southern bunker they seemed wounded. He decided that a medic was needed and readied himself to call for reinforcements.
"Command, this is King six of Echo company of the third armoured. Requesting Medical Technician class two Jack Daniels for immediate reinforcement on hill 262 Grid reference 659 come in Command over!" said Madog clearly into the receiver almost shouting.
Madog then decided that the area he was in to dangerous to stay at undefended and prepared himself for a jog over to friendly units. He fastened the radio equipment tightly to his back and kept the receiver close to his ear so he could hear any replies to his message. he got to his feet and jogged over to Davids position and crouched down huddled over his radio anxiously awaiting a reply.
Firing
S.SGT. David = Grenade at Krigheld. Sprays six shots at Krigheld. Suppresing fire at the Halftrack.

Had you read my previous posts correctly, David, you would know that Kriegheld is actually standing outside the building against thew wall. The map was not changed for some reason and you can check my post. It was NOT recently changed. Not that I have any real power, but I would suggest you write your post according to my actual position.
I quote from the post I made on 16 September
Immediately after firing, the three men rushed out of the building and found the half-track ready to fire on anyone that came out the door.
This cannot be denied. The words in this game are more important than the image, I believe. ~Doc
David you've god modded the capture of Captain Kriegheld and for that reason, I'm making parts of your post void. Sorry for stepping in Dan, but I can't allow a member to god mode the capture of a POW; It's entirely up to Kriegheld or the Mod-Marker to mod the retaliation of the Member's character during a battle.
You simply can't make a massive assumption that you've captured someone without retaliation or confirmation from the Mod Marker. You've simply cheated and you can not open your mouth and say you haven’t…
They both kept an eye on the German officer who was now their captive.
So what’s the point of “Assuming” you’ve shot and beaten up this member, before “Assuming” you’ve pushed him out of the room, to then say you have done it!? Because you’ve basically said you’ve captured him! As far as I’m concerned, the shots are left down to Dan to mod, whether you even made it into the room alive or not to begin with, but just encase you have made it that far, I can’t allow you to simply say you’ve taken Kriegheld as Prisoner. Because you’ve ran in guns blazing, assuming Captain Kriegheld would just simply stand there to be taken by you - heck, he has an Assault Rifle, he most likely would have gunned you down before you could get into arm’s length.
Just because you are allowed to take POWs on this website, doesn’t mean nine times out of ten, you will capture them. Your post was simply unrealistic and one sided.
Post by S.SGT David Bevan on Sept 29, 2008 14:50:31 GMT
Can I rewrite my post as due to the map I thought Krigheld was still in the building?
Also couldn't you tell i had spent the whole post trying not to god modd by saying attempted so often. But would it make sense if I wrote David kept an eye on the officer who might be lying on the floor if he captured him I'm not sure if he did. There it would have been impossible to say attempted. I don't mind you voiding things like that.
Also again it was impossible for me to say David may have said if he captured the officer he wasn't sure if he had "German soldiers I have your Captain as prisoner throw down your arms come into this room and lie down with your hands in the air and you will be spared"
You see I( only god modded where I had to and it was just so the post would make sense if I didn't god mod it would mean I couldn't even write that I tried to do those things.
The only reason I mixed up where krigheld was is because he has shown himself on the map twice and I thought the guys outside were all other NPCs.
And yous said it was wrong of me to say I reached the building without being shot at. How can I do anything in my post if that was true??? And anyway Krigheld and Hoffman both said they had made it to the building they attacked without being shot! Krigheld even had a vehicle moving at the same time which would gin a little attention from the enemy.
It was the early hours, I just voided whatever I could - it doesn't make my life easy having to read through every single slur of sentence, trying to get your post to sound right, by only making parts voided where you made your post a little out-of-balance.
So it's Dan's call, all I can say, is that there is way too many complaints coming from this thread and I'm a hair away from simply closing it. ~Danny
