McMillan had once again received intel that the head of the snake was close, and once again he was the man called to put an end to the matter. This time he was not going to let the opportunity slip by him. He was coming prepared to deal a fatal blow to the Axis. The early morning sunlight coming in from the east was a welcomed warmth and most wildlife had been startled long before they got close by Dingo. His tank was coming along with his faithful K-9, Tessa. McMillan would remain on foot for the soul reason of being better suited for the role.
"Find 'em girl." McMillan spat in a hefty tone. Tessa would be a great asset today, she was the bait unfortunately, McMillan could not stand the thought of loosing her but this was war, and bad things happened to good people, or dogs. McMillan had Dingo travel up the other side of the road while he planned on building hopping into a good position. Tessa being out front would hopefully give away any enemies already there and Dingo should draw off an attention that McMillan would get while moving.
Wolfram had once again slipped up and hopefully would be snared, but McMillan couldn't help but think if the last time had been a trap, and this one sure seemed that way. They had gotten the information rather easily this time and McMillan never thought that a man of such stature would let something of such value slip out, but they had also heard that the passing of his son had changed the man entirely, maybe this was too good to be true, and maybe he had just screwed up and let his emotions get in the way. None the less, it was too late to turn back, and McMillan was not leaving without accomplishing his goal.
The town was empty but there were no signs of combat wreaking havoc to the area or even a reason to leave, come to think of it McMillan had yet to see a civilian since he had arrived over seas. Nothing seemed right about this, why would this place be empty unless it was planned? He just kept a sharp eye and a firm grip, today, and angel was to fall.
