Massive Storyline (Allied)

Hey everyone,

So, I have the rough bones of a storyline cooked up in my head. It will involve me making a neutral character, either British or American deciding on which nationality would be better suiting to the participants, who is mentally unstable.

To cut a long story short, he'll be in the army for a short stint, but, one day, he shoots an officer or senior NCO, (wounding or killing, depends if anybody wants to get rid of a character), and basically runs away.

So, basically, you have a armed, mentally unstable bloke running around the British countryside in early 1944 who is trying to come to terms with what he's just done. This storyline could last as long as neccesary (until we all get bored, basically), as this character will solely be for this story.

So I'm wondering who would be interested, and what ideas they have. I know for sure there will be a team from the military trying to track him down, but I'd also like there to be a few threads where, disguised as a civilian, I meet other soldiers or civilians, and use what they tell me to mould the character and decide his final fate, whether he surrenders, stays running, or possibly even has a bit of a last stand.

So, who's interested?

Sounds like a rather interesting storyline, actually, Nate. I'm killing Ryan off, but that will be in Ealing's plot if that thing gets going. So I'm not too sure if I will be able to get involved.

I may be able to get involved with Tyler Brentwood, on the other hand. I'm sure he could further plot somehow, maybe he even helps this crazy guy just for a few laughs and develops a connection to the Jackals or something? Or he just helps a crazy guy for the lulz.

Not sure if I would be up to creating said crazy neutral character, running around for a while, and then kicking the bucket. Could be an interesting experience.

I'd quite like to join as Nicholas, but then I'm painfully aware of how many fairly big storylines he's in already and I don't want to turn everything into the Nicholas show.

If this were to happen, I'd reccomend that your character is an American in the 3ID but stationed in Britain (I think I've referenced a base in North England in a few threads). That way, the 3ID would be trying to find him, but it could also give the 7AD a chance to join in as he's on British soil.

Could be a psycopath's tour of Britain! Slaughter a few children at Barnsley, kill a goose at Aberdeen, set fire to a sheep at Caernarvon...

(NOTE: This is a joke, I do not condone any of the above activities. Maybe the first.)

That's the plan, Rhys.

So, I'll see about creating the character soon-ish, and then I'll do the first thread. It will basically be a 2 person one on the range, with myself and whoever wants to take a bullet (volounteer?). It will show the character getting madder and madder with this victim, before shooting him, and scarpering.

Thread #2 will be a 2 person or 3 person where I've run in to the next town, stolen some clothes etc, and I'm trying to get away quickly. So volounteers for that one, two.

If it doesn't require too much you can shoot and WOUND Patterson, just don't have the time to get into a story atm, but wanted you to have an option of shooting an Allied soldier like you wanted.
