Christmas Competition!

Hey guys, I just wanted to wish everyone a very merry christmas this year and a wonderful new year to come. Personally it's been a bad year for me, but hopefully a fresh start for next year will make it better for me and everyone else.

To get things started for Christmas, I have been thinking of a few random competitions that could be hosted to celebrate. If you all know me by now, I'm not one for handing out free CP to everyone on the website (BOO!), but during competitions, I do make it worthwhile.

I feel the currency here means something more than just free-hand-outs. Members and staff alike work hard to earn it, whether it's through role playing or furthering the site's development through suggestions and updates. To take away it's importance is not my key, so I'm sorry I won't be handing out free christmas CP, but I'm afraid that's how it is.

However, I can make you guys work for it. As always. Lol! Have a very happy christmas guys and keep reading if you're interested in the Christmas competition!

Christmas Competition!

Are you listening carefully? Okay.
Upon this website, are three hidden christmas objects. They are literally, hidden very well and I'm the only person that knows of their locations. So the staff are more than happy to take part in this competition - asides myself unfortuantely.

Now, the following objects that have been hidden are as follows, in reverse order from least expensive and easiest to find, to most expensive and very hard to find:

• Present:
  - If you find this present and post in this thread as fast as you can, you would have won 20CP! OR a mystery prize, which could be anything. From a bottle of beer, to a full blown tank.
  
  
• Christmas Elf:
  - If you find this christmas elf and post in this thread as fast as you can, you would have won 40CP! OR a mystery prize, which again could be anything from a bottle of beer to a full blown tank.
  
  
• SANTA!:
  - If you find santa, you are in for a big treat! Assuming you've posted first that you've found him, you would have won 70CP! or a mystery prize, again it could be a bottle of beer or seveal tanks!? The decision is yours.

Rules of the Competition:[/b]

• Now you know what's at stake, you must be sure to follow these reasonable rules:
  
  1. Once you have found one of the hidden objects above, you must post in this thread with the where-abouts of the hidden object immediately! If you are the first person to find the object, then you are the winner.
  
  There can only be one winner for each hidden object!
  
  2. To clarify you have found the object first, you must also PM me straight after or before. This is to stop members editing their previous posts to make it seem as if they've found it first. Posts with edited content may be voided, so make sure you PM me straight after to clarify the time of your post within the thread.
  
  3. As mentioned above, there can only be one winner for each hidden object and you have the choice of taking the amount of CP you have won or gambling for a mystery prize from the shop. It can be anything... So its your choice...
  
  4. The staff area has no hidden objects.
  
  5. In extreme circumstances, hints may be provided at a later date. The diffculty of their hidden places is due to their worth. Harder, the better the CP amount, but this doesn't always mean the mystery prize will be better. So take precaution if you decide to gamble.

LIMITED POWERS NOTICE!
Staff have been given limited powers for the next few days whilst this competition runs, to prevent them from cheating. It shouldn't stop them from being able to do their daily tasks, but it's a precaution I've had to take, to allow them to continue taking part.

You have indeed found Santa, I didn't expect someone to be so eager to find the hidden objects so quickly...

You have the option of taking the full amount of CP (90CP) or gambling for a prize should you wish to take a chance? There is one christmas object still left to play for!

Fair enough.
The following mystery prizes were:

Present: King Tiger

- Two platoons of Infantryman (Combat Orientated)

(Neutral Orientated)
- +25CP & an un-added item of Havana/Vintage Cigars with a note from Hitler/Churchill/Patton (depending on nationality) being sent as a gift to someone, that just so happened to fall into your hands by mistake - an item that will be classed as rare and never added to the shop. I also inteded for the item to play a part later on, when your character would be thrown into a conspiring story line...

I just want to say sorry to everyone in advance, this competition seems to have been a wash-out and completed in a matter of - half an hour - max? So unfortunately, I won't be trying anything too new again in future, too soon anyway.

I've given Addie 70CP to host another competition however, so perhaps that will spread some more joy on the site this Christmas.

Ok, now for the big question Dieter. Deal, or no deal? In other words, would you like the CP or to Gamble? You can take the 40CP or gamble for a mystery prize. Assuming you've read the rules above, it could be anything and I've disclosed the prior mystery prizes of #1 and #3 to give you an idea of what to expect. You could end up with a bottle of beer, losing 70CP and then having to give away 40CP to someone else... Or you could end up with a rare item, tank perhaps or something different.
