Well you guys know me by now and I'm always making comebacks. Been out of town for the week, spur of the moment thing, otherwise I would have let you guys know of my abrupt absence.
May have guessed why I was out of town for a while already. Brother's birthday.
However I'm active and my brother may not be, but I was wondering what the rules are on taking over a friend's/sibling's account? He's offered to give it to me, because of Uni' work crushing his social life and the likes. Would I be able to take control of his character and breathe a lease of life into the account? I don't think he will be returning, if I'm honest.

Hey guys,
This was brought to my attention and I thought I best answer these activity questions before the staff team begin the
O'Conners,
I'll grant you the ability to keep the following accounts until the next activity-check (most likely 6 months time) and if you can get the accounts working during that period, you may obviously keep the accounts until you no longer want them or become inactive.
Sound fine with you? Have a large gap in which you can attempt to get the accounts working, I'll try and provide you technical support should you need it.
R.Wolfram,
I have turned down such requests in the past. Where members wish to give their accounts to someone else on the website, but frankly, you require to sign-up properly so we (as staff) can monitor this person can meet the fifteen sentence limit during posts and actually can carry the rank of that account.
Remember, we have to marry up the quality and quantity of the applications to match the rank they wish to be placed under. So when someone wishes to hand their account away, it's not always clean-cut, infact it can be seen as a loophole for lesser ranked members pitching for a CO rank for instance, whereas they may have been turned down before in their applications for not reaching the rank they've requested. Does that make sense?
However...
In this case, I see no problem with you taking over your brother's account, on the following terms.
- You have been here for well over a year now and we all know your writing standard, so we have no problem with you breaking the fifteen sentence limit or being incapable of writing detailed posts that would meet the general writing standard here.
- You have also been a "Captain" in the past and the account you wish to take over, is of that rank, so we know you're more than capable of holding the CO title.
Overall, I see no problem with you taking over your brother's account. Assuming you have the login details and such, you may take the account over and have it classed as one of your own accounts. So from here on out, you hold full responsibility of that account and it's actions. Understood?
Hope that's cleared a couple of complications up.
