Alright Owen and I have had a chat about Nathan's purchase of the MG 34 after we'd agreed to terms. We've decided that you can continue to use the MG 34 but you must allow us one more special NPC. If that's unacceptable then Nathan can choose between the 34 or 44, but he cannot have both.

Nathan's possession of the MG, essentially, gives you one more special NPC over us and all we want is to even it up again.

What weapons people are bringing to the fight are not determined in the sign up and don't need to be agreed upon. You should have thought of such a move when you noted that 1.) Nate has a cert giving him 2 Weapons. 2.) Nate as CP for a second weapon.

However, I will talk to Nate or JT when they later get on to see if we can stop this little "fit".

What Heiko is saying is that, with Nathan's second weapon, there is the ability to give yourselves a more advantaged NPC, by letting it borrow Nate's second weapon. This then gives your team another Special NPC, so we were wondering if we could get another special NPC of our own to balance out this advantage. He isn't saying that Nathan should not be allowed to use the second weapon. We are asking for something to balance out the difference.

This issue has already been resolved. The terms were agreed to and the fact that Luther has a cert giving him the ability to wield two weapons was as well. So the fact he can use these weapons or give them to an NPC doesn't warrant you guys getting extra special NPCs, especially since the unit wouldn't use it as well as a real special NPC anyway.

You agreed to the terms. He can use two weapons. Going back on your word when you see him make use of the cert right when I'm about to start the thread isn't going to get you extra units.

Ok, I'll throw in my bit, being the mod and all.

Nate had the cert long before this sign up, so the purchase is legit.

Even if he does give one of his weapons to an NPC it does not all of a sudden become a "Special NPC". Said NPC will all of a sudden have a change in weapons systems thrust upon him, with it not being his primary weapon or having had any formal training on it, the NPC will in fact be worse of...except it can provide better covering fire, therefore the other team being able to gain another special NPC out of this would not balance it out.

After all, we have the 12 Pvts so we can simply name the ones who die when they die. But the Sgt, Cpl, Radioman, and Engie are cemented.
