Notes: The battle story is not difficult to grasp. It is the second hour of the invasion of Poland by Nazi Germany, and a small force of German soldiers has been sent to capture the political center of the city of Westerplatt, nicknamed "Polish Reichstag" by the German troops assaulting it. The main goal of the offensive is to neutralize a Polish radio tower to the right of the city's administrative building. The small garrison of Poles/Britons holding it are transmitting vital messages to Polish troops to march on the Germans, and to start air raids on the advancing Axis forces. If the Nazis do not capture the radio tower, then their element of suprise will be completley lost.
MAP KEY:
Blue are doorways, black is walls. The yellow-dotted line is a road, and the brown lines are small back allys lined with seedy shops and a brothel. The building in the right corner is the radiotower, surrounded by foxholes dug hastily by the Allied forces. The square in the left corner is a garden surrounded by a white picket fence, and the small green box along the road is a hedge holding several shrubs and a statue.
