The Build-A-Family Thread

Born from the discussion in this thread here, the Build-A-Family Thread is for the RPers of IO to request characters that may be related to their own character. Whether you're looking for a long lost little brother to pop out of the blue, or your mother's brother's aunt's father's cousin's sister's nephew's second cousin twice removed's great uncle's sister to fly in like Mary Poppins, this is the place to do it. If you want, you can even request specifics for your potential family members - if you want a veteran member to RP him/her, for example.

Please respect the wishes of those who are looking to enrich the plot by making a bigger IC family. Not everyone wants someone RPing their character's family, so if someone says no, then don't make a fuss. Instead, you could always put up a family request yourself.

Important Notices


- The request for a brother of Liam Brentwood has been fulfilled by the RPer of Erik Schneider/Jonas Merhoff. Please do not request for this character spot in the future.


- The family of Zack de Caldicot has been filled by Zack himself, as well as Dieter (portraying Otto Wolff) and Rury (portraying Zelda Agatha Wolff).

If anyone wanted to, they could be my allied character SGM Ryan's son. I might be a little picky about who would be able to do it. Basically you would be an illegitimate son he had when he was about 16, so you would be able to be around 20. So you'd probably have to be like a Junior NCO. Could go more in depth if anyone ever chose to try and take up this role.

I guess I may as well host a vacancy for being Liam's brother;
I'm currently not looking for a brother to come crawling out of the woodwork for Liam, but it shouldn't hurt debating it for now and seeing who'd like the role. I too may be picky about who gets to be play as Liam's brother, but the type of qualities I'm looking for are:

- Slightly younger
- Short tempered
- Protective of Liam (as Liam would be of you)
- Rebellious and would be willing to partake in some very controversial threads.

I'm not looking to get away with murder, but Liam isn't afraid to be demoted or even hung for sinister ways, so if you'd be willing to create a character who's slightly off the wall, fearless as Liam would be and willing to take part in some very graphical natured threads (in regards to torturing prisoners perhaps) then I would be quite happy to take you into the Brentwood family.

Your rank may be of any stature as well.

To shortly put it, the two will be a frightening duo and you must, must, must be willing to take part in some very graphical natured threads and be able to accept any concequences that may occur. Such as demotions, as I don't expect our characters to get away with such barbaric actions within the British Army.

Just read my post back, make it sound like I'm looking for a partner in crime, technically, I guess I am. Hehe! Just looking for someone that would be willing to have a fierce character and willing to do barbaric things to the Nazi prisoners they capture.

Liam's a very... Anti-Nazi person. So he'd wreak justice in his own way. I'm not talking about murder a friendly unit or anything, just someone who'd be willing to be a partner in crime with his older brother (Liam) and wouldn't mind painting a bad picture for himself. Become bit of a crook, so to speak.

I might like to. He is American, right? What is his name?

He's American, alright. You can make his name. He'd be more like a long lost son so he would have lived with his mom. His father would have never known that he had him.

So I'm thinking about making a German character. He would be the American son of German immigrants who return to Germany when Hitler calls on Germans to return to the Fatherland.
My avatar will be Clint Eastwood disguised as a German in Where Eagles Dare Then I had an idea.

Someone could use a pic of Clint Eastwood from one of the many movies he did as an American soldier, AND BECOME MY CHARACTER"S TWIN BROTHER STILL IN AMERICA. If anyone wants to do this, I will change his history to where his parents split up and one parent and my character's brother stayed in America.

If anyone want to do this, the only thing you need to do is make a character with a Clint Eastwood avatar, you're character is from Grantville, Pennsylvania, at least one of your parents is German, and then they moved back to the Fatherland. PM me if you want to do this and we can work out the rest of our co-bio.
