Hello,

I'm sure this is the correct area for this type of thread, but if not, then I apologise and hopefully the staff can move it to the correct area.

On topic however, I know my brother has built quite the reputation here and having an older brother (both in and out of character) is going to cause some controversy and I assume, a lot of attention. So I would like to get my introduction correct and start a thread with someone who would be willing to take things at a slow, but active pace.

I'm completely open to any storyline suggestions on how Angelus may introduce himself, appear in other words and I am looking to start a thread with one, maybe two people.

Feel confident to leave your storyline thoughts below and any relevant plottings you feel could add potential to thickening our role play. Should you require any additonal information about my character, you can find most of it written or logged in my application during signing up.

I'm also new here and would like to get involved in some nice RP to introduce my character. Dieter is not that high-ranked, so he could act as a driver/messenger to your character or something along those lines.

Maybe some older member would also like to join? I'm new to this kind of style of roleplaying so any practice would be welcomed. I know my own character isn't very high-profile but hopefully that would not pose a problem.

Welcome to both of you! Don't worry, you will get use to the place eventually. I'd be happy to get involved in neutral threads with either one of you to get all of us some nice CP. If either of you can come up with a plot to be talking to an SS man, than I'm definitely game.

I wish I could RP on my Jonas account as Dieter just joined my division and Jonas is going to get to know Angelus eventually . But, since I can't I think Erik would be good enough to RP with you guys.

I think Strumfelder would like to get to know you. I have very close links with Wolfram, and I suppose I did save/am responsible for the death of Wolfrick, who would be your nephew. Maybe just a small thread. I could come to your divisional HQ, looking for Jonas Merhoff (old plot line), then tear into some Private NPC. You, feeling angered march over, and then I realise your resemblance to your brother. It then grows from there?

I'm sorry for a belated response, I have already explained the complications of my internet failure, but I'm happy to see there has been a slight spike of interest in wanting to role play with me. I would be quite happy and pleased to role play with all of you. Should the storylines match or connect.

Erik, I would enjoy role playing with you. I feel our relationship must grow if we are to work together, but whether you would enjoy saving these plots for your imprisoned character, the man I shall be working aside or whether you would like to role play now with your SS Officer; I am fine with either choice. I shall leave the option down to you.

Erhard Strumfelder, that sounds quite a cunning plan. My brother has told me all about you and asked me to keep an eye on you, in hope you lead his division well; I don't mean to pry with an intemidating menace, he just generally asked me to be on standby, should you require my brother's attention or wish to pass on any messages. He also notified me that you are to be promoted should you perform well? Something I don't feel I have power over, as my brother is your commanding officer, but again, he prompted me to keep an eye on you and forward the request of a promotion upon your behalf should you concur with keeping the division afloat and making it's members proud.

My brother must really like you Erhard Strumfelder. He sent me a direct e-mail explaining that word by word, felt it would be corny and cheap to copy and paste the e-mail onto here, so I hope my recount of what he said is clear? I would be thrilled to engage with you in some role play Erhard Strumfelder, you will have to fill me in on some plot holes, such as this nephew business? My brother never mentioned such things to me. I figure they're not important? Are they?

You must remember, I have designed my character entirely around "himself", Angelus does not know of Rafael Wolfram, just the acknowledgement of having a younger brother somewhere in the world. Is there any other plot additions you would like to add Erhard Strumfelder? Should you be willing to start this role play with me?

If you guys do RP, I would be happy to join with my character Adelheid. She's Strumfelder's adopted daughter, Angel, so that might make things interesting.

And this "nephew business" pertains to an old plot that changed a lot of characters. Your IC nephew, Wolfrick Wolfram, was killed by a Molotov cocktail in a raid in Munich by Slavic rebels. Rafael Wolfram was a bit...different after his son's death, and Strumfelder was horribly disfigured and became quite bitter. The latter is now considered one of the most evil characters on IO.

Oh, how depressing. Sounds like my brother to create such a grim persona for himself.

I have a dead nephew, Wolfrick Wolfram. Shall be interesting to find such news out during role play, in actual fact, it would be very interesting for Angelus to find out his brother is an SS-Man; Major of a very infamous division of the Reich.

May I also add, if people are expecting Angelus and Rafael to be very close padres, you most probably couldn't be further from the truth. My brother may be helping me to set up my character, but our relationship during role play will be far from close, vaguely mutual. It rests upon my brother's undated return and our character progression, but for now, Angelus is far from loving or even knowing of his brother's well-to-do existance.

I'm not quite sure on how your character would fit into this Adelheid, but perhaps yourself or Erhard Strumfelder could explain things better on how the story would connect together.

My role at this point is to make Strumfelder look good; Adelheid's being used by Strumfelder to further his image of "the ideal image of a patriotic soldier" - when in reality, he's a complete bad guy. You might meet Adelheid one day while Strumfelder's dragging her along, so she might be just a secondary character at first. It all depends on the circumstances at the time a thread is started with Angelus.

May I ask how Adelheid is to improve Erhard Strumfelder's reputation? Being but a child, adopted child. I fail to see how such actions would improve a very, foretold, barbaric man's reputation here? If you happen to see where I am coming from with my conspicuous curiosity.

Impure blood within an Aryan family, SS-Man's family, would have been nothing but an insult to the führer himself. From my belittled knowledge on the second world war, SS-Men were encouraged to have pure children, so how Adelheid's adopted presence could help to improve Erhard Strumfelder's reptuation, I'm failing to see here. Utterly. Unless I'm missing a very steep point that's been overseen here?

Never the less, I would be delighted to have a role play with you should the time arise. Angelus will be quite warming to children, but I'm not going to reveal his family stature as of yet. Whether he has children, a wife for example, I'm hoping these crucial storyline pillars to Angelus's role here could be incorporated to strengthen or build towards another role play; Having taken a page out of my brother's book, with this Wolfrick Wolfram business.

Ah, sorry if I didn't explain this better earlier. I knew I was missing something. Basically, he's pretending to be a kind man to the general public, whose daughter - a poor, unfortunate orphan he took in - will be the model child of her time in Germany, despite being "impure". So basically, he'll act nice to her in public, and out of pure fear of punishment, she'll act like an obedient, loving daughter. At home, he's temperamental and unpredictable, and just like with Harry Potter, he keeps Adelheid in an enclosed space - in this case, a wardrobe. I can't really say anything beyond that; Strumfelder the RPer would probably give you a better description of his plans. All I know about his intentions are being explained here, from what he's told me. You should drop him a PM if you're confused about anything.

Angelus likes kids, eh? This may prove useful in the future...I have some plot ideas revolving around Adelheid that would work well with Angelus being nice to the children.

As of now, I would just like to get started with something simple, so I do hope my plot doesn't become too thick and confusing to begin with. It seems my brother's legacy is suddenly upon my shoulders, an unnerving prospect.

I don't think that's the case, Angel. Raf was just a big part of the community; your arrival is making everyone excited, I believe, because I don't think Raf mentioned having a brother until recently. So, I think many people on IO are just excited we have two Wolframs in the community, since you two both appear to be pleasant folk, and skillful RPers with interesting characters.

What a nice thing to say, thank you. I did not realise the impact my brother had upon this place, until yesterday, to be quite honest with you. So I do feel a little intemidated, as to not tarnish or disembowel the effort and reputation he has built for himself here. You are all way too kind, I have never met a community so welcoming before. I can honestly vouch for that.

Believe it or not, as you will, but I have been banned from three role playing sites over the duration of a year. I've been told my writing is too 'intemidating', I once argued a point fairly and the staff banned me on grounds of making a valid point, which was terrible, as freedom of speech was zilch and the last time I was banned, was simply because the administrator was jealous. He had to be top dog in the role playing community. Perhaps it's just my fault for finding very childish forums, but everyone here has been and are fantastic people, I'm quite proud of my brother for making such decent friends.

Nice joke JT, nearly called you by your name then, but I'm sure it is the legacy that's weighing me down. I started reading a few very old threads my brother's participated in and my writing does seem quite similar to his, but then it would after tutoring him how to read and write for several years of his life. I'm currently working towards a second degree in English and Literature, so he's learned a lot from me polishing him up; As I have learned a lot from him.

I shall be starting a role play thread soon, perhaps today, so whether I base my story around either yourself Addie or Erhard Strumfelder, please let me know. As I will be willing to reserve the thread for you both.
