There wasn't a thread like this yet, so as a fan of all kinds of movies, I had to go and create one myself!
Post here about the latest movie you watched, but please, try to write at least a small review instead of just saying "I watched X and it was good".
The latest movie I watched was Zwartboek (Black Book). It's about a Jewish singer who works for the Dutch resistance and gets the task to try and infiltrate the local SD/Gestapo-headquarters.
I liked this movie, it has a lot of edge and the actress who plays the singer, Rachel, is brilliant in her role. I would recommend it for anyone interested in a espionage story, although with the warning that it does contain quite a bit of nudity at times and I'm aware that this might scare some people. ;D Couldn't really say it's historically accurate, but it was still entertaining to watch.
It's not the nudity that's scary in Black Book, it's what's added to the naked bits that's disturbing. Things I won't mention.
On a happier thought, the last movie I saw was O' Brother Where Art Thou? Based on Homer's Odyssey, it's a comedy following 3 escaped convicts trying to get some loot before the valley it is hidden in is flooded. It's got thompsons, explosions, singing......, and Jesus, and it's up in my top 5 movies.

The latest movie that I watched was: Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen. I personally thought it was a good movie. Could've used a bit more plot, but i like action and destruction and giant robots and Megan Fox
I thought Transformers 2 was rather mediocre though, sure, the little tidbits of eye candy and the occasional showcase of troops running around was somewhat rewarding but the characterization of the Transformers, who are supposed to be the main focus of the movie is lackluster, with the giant robots appearing one-dimensional, contrary to the heavy conversations in the original animated series.
Props to the CGI-animated sequences though, they were less confusing and more entertaining then the first and the theme by Linkin Park was suitably epic too. ;D

I just watched the movie Role Models. It falls above the average comedy right now, but the thing that really made the movie not fail were the innuendos in the dialogue. I was laughing so much because of "well"-phrased dialogue. It was much better than a lot of the comedies that have been out in the past few years, but it just fell short a bit. I would suggest it for someone, but don't expect it to become your all-time favorite.
3 Dec 09, 06:54 IO: Goodnight, Owen. 3 Dec 09, 05:27 Owen: There, I finished that. Goodnight IO.
Owen, come back! -JT I did -Owen Yeah, but you left again! -JT And then came back again! - Owen You should come back a third time, I've heard it's a charm! -JT
I'd say that the latest movie I've watched has to be Harry Potter and the Half-bloof Prince.
It was... different.
Like watching Barry Manilow sing live after you (and he) had drunk a half a bottle of Jack Daniels. Everything was all "Whoooaaaa!" and "I love you, man!"

Oh my godness, I just found the whole movie "Talvisota- The Winter war" in 19 parts on youtube. The movie is absolutely amazing and although the quality is, well ... quite youtube, you shouldn't miss this one.
