What do I do!?

Some of you already know from the conversation earlier in the chat-box, that I've been put into bit of an awkward situation with making a choice. Do I leave the 3rd SS and create my external division or do I go ahead and join the Brandenburgers alongside JT and Nathan?

This is how I see it:

Burger PROS!
If I join the Brandenburgers, then I'm in one of the elite units alongside some good sports and friends. I have their backs, they have mine and things couldn't be any more kushty.

Burger CONS!
The Burgers don't accept private ranked NPCs and being a leader, I rely on manpower to do my bidding foremost and I will also lose my SS rank status, which is the most crushing blow, because Wolfram was born and bred to be within the SS role. Could I really let go of that?

Own Div' PROS!
If I made my own little private division, I wouldn't have to worry about keeping anyone overly entertained ever again during my absence and I get to use my privates and keep my SS rank.

Own Div' CONS!
Major cons would be that I'm losing out to being in the Burgers with the guys...


Any suggestions on this issue?

Sell your PVTs to someone and use the funds to get CPLs, buy one get one free helps

Since your SS rank seems to be of great importance to you...there is actually an easier fix than you might think. You outrank both Nathan and myself...but we are running the unit...you could take the position of an advisor from high command to observe and report on the progress of the unit...still keeping your SS ties but attached to the burgers.

As always, should you be interested in this idea it would still need to be put to a vote within the burgers with a unanimous decision coming about...but id be willing to wager you have a damn fine shot at getting the vote.

The first thing that popped into my mind is that you should make your own devision and have it working closely with the burgers, maybe you can supply fries?

Well I would either sell the Privates or pass them onto my Hauptmann account that's going to be taking over the 3rd SS in Wolfram's place most probably, if I decided to join the Brandenburgers. So yeah, it's do-able for sure.

I may outrank yourselves in the unit, but I'm not looking to run it by any means, quite the opposite. The "advisor" role is ingenious though, sounds good and benefits me to keep the SS rank. I'm just not sure if it really makes sense though? Why would an SS Major be observing/advising a Heer unit (plus bringing all his boys and toys along too)? Then again, a lot of stuff on Issuing Orders doesn't make a lot sense, so I'm not complaining if it lets me keep my current rank.

Definitely given me a pitch to play with there big man and of course, assuming everyone would want me in the division too.

Oh boy... What do I do... I think may have made my mind up, but let's see what anyone else has to say on this first.

And the early burgers did some highspeed stuff, why not an SS advisor?

Personal Security Detail, I like the sounds of that. How much will I need to pay you? Lol!

Yeah I guess the Burgers would have done some untamed stuff, like any elite or experimental units, so I figure it wouldn't be far from the truth thinking about it realistically.

You're selling it to me man, you're selling it to me and in your PM you raised a good point as well. If I create my own division, I'm creating far less strings that would keep me from coming back. By joining the Burgers I guess I would feel a compelling to return as more often than not to stick about.

If you do indeed leave the 3rd for the Brandenburgers, I will have little direction for Hautt. I would rather have one last battle for the 3rd under Raf and bring eternal glory to the Division by my death than serve under any... 'Raf-less' unit.
