Character History:
- Write a brief Bio about your character’s background.
Henry was born in 1909 in the small town of Carolton Alabama to some middle class parents. At a young age they all picked up and moved to the city so that their son could recieve a better education. But the city life was more than just better schools for their son. Also better jobs, along with a higher crime rate. Henry took to books like a fish to water but for several years he was picked on and bullied. One day he had had enough of it and took a knife to school, his father's, he chickened out and the older boys found out about this. The ridicual that came with such an act was unbearable. Eventually, for his own sanity, Henry blocked out all existance of his emotions. This would come with a price.
After graduating high school he pushed his parents to send him to a military college. His mother would have none of it but his father felt that he should learn from his own mistakes. After several heated arguements, Henry was able to talk his mother into allowing such a decision. This was soon to back fire on his fther. He loved every aspect of the militery life. He excelled in tactics with armor and artillery units, but fell short when it came to actual combat for himself. He was one of the only graduates to be awarded with a master tactician award upon graduation. Unfortunately his mother would never be able to show her son how proud she was of him. She was lost to scarlet fever just two months prior.
Henry, with out having felt the loss, was disowned by his father, he thought Henry never cared for his mother and never wanted to see his face again after the graduation. Henry enlisted soon after with the United states army. He was adored by his fellow officers and respected just the same. During many training scenarios he impressed his superiors at his ability to cammand and accomplish a mission with out hesetation and with out remorse for the loss of human life for either side of the scenario. He just knew that there was a mission to accomplish and that was the most important aspect. He would stop at nothing to accomplish a mission.

Scenario: You’re alone behind enemy lines and you get the eerie feeling someone’s watching you. You’re trying to remain quiet, stay low, work your way back to the frontlines - but you can’t help but feel you’re being followed… (How does your character React? What’s running through their mind?)
The snow was deep and the trees had been dead for quite some time now, having been ravaged by the combat that befell their hillside. The cold was enought o put a man into shock were he not careful enough to keep moving. Henry planned to do just that. He had a long way to get back to the front lines and he was on the wrong side of them at the moment. He had gone out with a few scouts to confirm the message they had recieved three days earlier of a German camp just over the ridge.
Having found this to be true, they were making their way back when they were caught by a Nazi patrol. They were only out numbered by two, but the element of surprise was all the small German patrol need. The rest of his men had been laid waste to, he had suffered a small wound on his left arm and was carrying the only other man that made it out of their still breathing. He wouldn't last the night if he didn't get medical attention, he had lost a lot of blood and they were both past dehydration.
About every twenty feet, Henry would hear the rustling of leaves in the distance to their rear. Mostly he thought nothing of it but every so often he would turn to check the rear flank. The sun had come up alomost an hour ago, but the valley was still dark, hidden from the sun's heat by the large cliff face.
THUD
CRACK!!
The bullet landed before they even heard the shot. He had felt the man's weight he was carrying shift when it happened. He dropped down by a fallen log to realize that the man's last act of life was to save Henry's. The bullet did not penetrate through him completly, saving Henry from any further pain. But Henry knew it was a remarkable shot from the time lapse between the hit and the sound of the shot. He followed the fallen tree as far as he could to some dense foliage.
His pace was slowed drastically but it was better than no pace and no pulse. He crawled through the snow and vines and dead tree limbs as the cold started to fill his body. He started shaking, knowing if he were walked up on by the enemy, he would have no chance of hitting them. His ammunition was low and his sight was blurred. He kept trudging along, hoping that the end of the valley would bring the welcome sight of Allied soldiers.
