Character History:

Daniel was born on March 21, 1923 in a New Jersey house. As a kid he was raised by his mother and farther. Begin the only child of his parents he was always treated fairly. But as he got older and reached the age of thirteen he grew into a disrespectful kid. Daniel
was doing terrible in school, and his parents grew worried for him. As time went on his parents came across an Military ad in a newspaper. It had information on a Boot Camp not to far away were they lived. Right then and there they knew that Daniel should go, so he started packing for his trip. As a kid naturaly, he didn't wanted to go but he was forced to. When he arrived to the Boot Camp, he thought that it wouldn't be to bad. Daniel spent two years there and came out totally changed. He had made numerous achievements while there, and reached the rank of Corporal. He then moved back to his parents house, and lived there peacefully until the war started. He heard that the Army was recruiting men to join and fight in the war. It took a while for Daniel to decide to join the army. Mostly because his parents were trying to persuade him not to. So he joined, knowing that his past training could help him out. He paid his parents a visit before his departure, thinking will it be his last moment with them?

It was pitch black as Daniel and his squad of six moved along the woods, behind enemy territory. He was equipped with an M1 Grand rifle and was dressed in camouflage. Their first objective was to retrieve German documents from a factory they was about to enter. The second objective was to destroy all remains. He raised his hand as a signal for his men to hold their position. Daniel then reached in his pouch for a binocular as he placed his weapon on the ground. Daniel raised the binocular to his eyes and looked around for any hostile's in sight. He spotted five men on guard duty, then turned around to give his men instructions. Quietly he said "There are hostile's at 2, 11, and 12 o'clock. I want you to spread out and take them out. Then proceeded with our objective. Brown, your with me now move out."

His men nodded at their orders then disappeared thorough the trees. Daniel and his Private moved toward a enemy silently then crouched a good 15 feet away as they pulled out thier knifes. They continue moving forward, and when they were close enough he attacked. Daniel sneaked up behind the man, then closed his hand over the guy's mouth and shoved his blade through his back. His enemy let out a small shriek but the sound was muffled by Daniel.

He then dragged the man behind a bush, his Private move ahead of him to watch for anyone else as Daniel wiped the blood of his knife with the dead man clothes. Him and his comrade moved on towards the factory and waited a good distance from it. Daniel reached in his pouch for a flare gun, which was a signal that was to let the squad know to advance on the factory. He grabbed the gun and pointed it in the air then pulled the trigger. He waited for a few seconds then started his advance on the German factory. Daniel and his Private opened fire on the men, which guarded the factory. The element of surprise was on their side because he hit two men on the roof of the factory.

His partner stabilised a few men on the ground and as he started reloading Daniel took them out. He ducked as some german's started to fire back at them and started to reload his weapon. When he finished reloading he came out of cover and opened fire on the remaining germans, then took cover again. There was silence then Daniel came out of cover again to see the rest of his squad closing in on the factory. He then walked slowly to the factory entrance his gun up, and his hand on the trigger. When he got to the entrance he signal his men to advance. During their briefing they were told the documents were in room 101.

The squad advanced down the hall looking at the room numbers, and stoping at room 101. Daniel pulled out a smoke canister from his pouch as his men got ready to kick the door in. Silently Daniel counted "One.....Two.....Three" his men kicked down the door and he threw the smoke canister in the room. They proceeded in and fired at the few men that was in the room. Daniel and his men took the documents and placed them in their pouches. Two of his other men placed some C4 around the room which were set to explod in two minutes. When they were finished they all ran as fast as they could out the factory and away from the building to take cover. The building exploded, parts of it flying around.

Daniel and his men evacuated the area, their mission was done.

Your character history doesn't make sense at all really - he was a Corporal but wasn't in the army?

Could you re-write it so it's slightly more realistic, probably a bit bulkier too, and then you should be good enough to get Corporal.

History:

Daniel Brown was born on Novemer second, in a home in New Orleans. He was also born with a twin brother, but they were separated at birth because their mother couldn't take care of both of them. His brother name was Gergery and he was the one to leave as Daniel was the one to stay, Gergery was placed in an orphanage to be raised by different parents.

As a few years passed on Daniel was being abused by his mother at the age of six. Being a black mother in the 1900s was difficult and at hard times, his mother would sometimes beat on him as a way to let go of her frustration. A year later of being abused by his mother his second grade teacher started seeing marks on his body. Which worryed her thus opening an ACS case on his mother.

The case lasted about two weeks, because the workers had alot of evidence mostly based on the environment that he had lived in. Which had mainly consisted of gang killings and an area were other kids were being abused also. When the case was closed Daniel was placed in an orphanage which was the same one as his brother. After a year of living in a orphanage a lady and man saw he, mistaken him of their own child. After talking with the owner of the orphanage the lady and the man was told that the boy name was Daniel Johnson. They knew that their son Gergory and Daniel was related so they took custody of Daniel.

When he was taken to his knew home, him and his brother bonded togather, but they didn't know that they were actually related by blood. Then at the age of nineteen both of the brothers lived an successful life, dispite the war that was growing biger and biger every day.

Then ads started to appear on tv for funding the USA troops that was in the war, and posters outside on walls persuading people to join the army. Then Gergory was one of the people that were persuaded so he joined the army. Daniel and his parents had a long talk the day after and Daniel decided to join the army too and protect his brother.

Daniel had served the military for a few years now and was promoted to the rank of corporal for his outstanding effort. Which leaves him were he is now.
