Accepted, Welcome to the board!
Short, sweet and Simple; yet still a good application.

Name: Clarence Thomas
Nationality:
British
What Army will Your Character Serve Beneath?
UK
Character History:
Not exactly what society defined as its top productivity, Clarence Thomas breaks any rule the law-givers punished him with. He worries little of what others think of him, and earth can crash to another planet for all he cares. His no-care, no-how attitude begins in his early years, reared by the harsh lifestyle of St. Michael’s Orphanage, and the young man learns all the tricks there is to know about life out of it. Yet Clarence is not some one tough bastard everyone comes to identify. He has always prayed for a day of acceptance. A family who will one day loves him for who he is, flaws and all. And after getting himself kicked out of the adoption system, eighteen years later in his life, Clarence has not yet lost hope. This hope is what fuels him to this day to overlook smudges in life and continues on living.
He accepts the draft when time comes around and does what he has to do to carry out his duty.
Military Rank:
Private
Writing Sample:
Scenario: You’re alone behind enemy lines and you get the eerie feeling someone’s watching you. You’re trying to remain quiet, stay low, work your way back to the frontlines - but you can’t help but feel you’re being followed… (How does your character React? What’s running through their mind?)
Clarence did not know what happened. Two hours ago he and his mates were chasing after rabbits, and the next thing he knew he was walking alone in a deserted German forest. “Bloody hell this is Alice in Wonderland,” he mumbled, amazed at the revelation, “I’ve always wanted to take a time off there….Then again maybe I can’t.”
Deep hushed voices alerted the private he’s not the only company there, and knowing how outnumbered he might be Clarence took a quick sprint since he figured he would be dead meat if he lingered on.
Off with their heads. He mouthed the words over as he swerved behind a tree and aimed at the branch above his now flustered pursuers. Nestled snow collapsed down atop the two Axis, and with a smirk Clarence decided to run once more, hopefully now to the Allied base.
Finally education at its best. I don’t aim at Mrs. Castleworth’s rear end for nothing you know.
