What Army will Your Character Serve Beneath?

Character History:
Jonathan Jones was born in Merthyr Tydfil in 1919.His father was a butcher and died when Johnathan was 17.Their was a shortage of money coming into the family.He was glad to be conscripted as it would be one less mouth to feed and he could send money home to his family.He and his brother conscripted to the army in 1940 a year into the war.They served for five years in the army as a Privates.Jonathan received a victoria cross for his service.

Jonathan was alone after retreating from a bridge defense.None of his squad had survived.He was very worried for his own life and for his brother who had been told to meet him at the bridge.The Germans attacked before his brother arrived. As he rounded a corner in the street he saw a terrible sight as a cruel German gunned down his brothers squad.The German shouted something in triumph and drew his Luger pistol and began looting a British corpse.Jonathan lifted his Lee-Enfield to his eye struggling desperately to hold in the tears.He fired and the Germans corpse hit the ground.He was hart broken that he had to leave his brother without a true burial.All he could do was make a cross out of two rifles and then without looking back he continued towards the evac point.
