Good Application, but a few problems before I can accept you;
You've written your scenario in First Person, this has to be done in Third Person and the rank you've selected, sadly, doesn't meet the critera of your writing skill.
None the less, you may edit your application and try to meet these standards.

What Army will Your Character Serve Beneath?

Character History:
Born in1918 in Cardiff David Bevan was 21 years of age when world war two broke out. He was born of a military family and his father was a Captain in the Special Air Service and inevitably, David dreamed of following in his fathers footsteps. In 1938 he joined the Royal Welsh Fusiliers as a Lieutenant alongside his older brother Rhys.
David Bevan soon had a chance to show his courage at Dunkirk where he single-handedly held a bunker for two days, giving his allies time to retreat. For this action he was promoted to Captain and awarded a Victoria Cross.
He died at an unknown location in North Korea in 1947.

I trod slowly and stealthily. The dense undergrowth closed in on all sides and i began to get the terrible feeling that I was being watched. I feared for I had no compass and could be heading in the wrong direction also I would be vulnerable in a fire fight as I was alone. It was then I heard the unmistakeable sound of a weapon being loaded.
I glanced around madly in every direction my Sten Gun mk5 at the ready. I spotted the German just as he opened fire with his MP40.I leapt for the cover of a tree and returned fire.
As his body hit the ground four SS troopers emerged from the woods armed with KAR98K's and MP44's.I decided it was time to make my escape and I crept back into the darkness like a ghost in the night!
