Accepted, welcome to the board!
Although you applied for a Colonel Rank, i don't tend to give away high ranks unless best seen fit; i'm more than happy to assign you as a First Lieutenant if you'd take it?

Name: Hiroshi Nerozumi
Nationality: Japan
What Army will Your Character Serve Beneath?
UK or US: U.S.
Character History: Hiroshi Nerozumi was born to an average family, a mother and father who both had jobs. His dad was a fashion designer, the only truly strange thing, while his mother worked for a newspaper.
Hiroshi's mom died at age 13 in a car accident, and thusly his father raised him for most of his life. His father, being a flirt, passed it on to his son, who soon became a flirt as well.
His dad made sure his child got the best education possible for reasons that had strong links to the military. His dad was a retired Lieautenant Colonel, and had strong bonds with a man who was still in the military.
The man suggested that Hiroshi's dad get Hiroshi to go into the army, and his dad thought it wise. His son was given the best education possible, and persuaded Hiroshi to go into the military.
Hiroshi had a high I.Q., able to create tactics and plans that surpassed his father. He joined the military at age 24 and trained long and hard.
By age 31, he had obtained a Captain rank, then he surpassed his father three years later by obtaining Colonel, a well deserved rank at his level. He had assisted in many battles, and created a great name for himself.
Military Rank: Colonel
Writing Sample:
Scenario: You’re alone behind enemy lines and you get the eerie feeling someone’s watching you. You’re trying to remain quiet, stay low, work your way back to the frontlines - but you can’t help but feel you’re being followed… (How does your character React? What’s running through their mind?)
Hiroshi ducked low, holding his weapon by his side. He kept himself calm, and looked up for a second to view the field. He ducked low again, getting a mental 3-d picture of the battlefield, and started to plan a strategy for getting back to his unit.
The enemy was small in numbers on the western side, yet there were still many enemies. His best bet was to crawl to the next pile of rubble, hide out until some more enemies were taken out, then continue forth, keeping himself hidden.
Hiroshi reloaded his rifle, and came out, going foreward at a steady pace, ignoring the feeling of being followed. He looked about as bullets flew through the air.
A few minutes later he made it back to front lines, unscathed except for a cut in his shoulder caused by accidentally cutting himself on a piece of rubble. He had wasted no ammo, and was ready to continue forth in battle.
