Character History:
Theodore Brown was born in a small farming town in the United States. His parents lived the stereotypical farming life, working everyday and living on the few income they get per day. Although Theodore didn't like it much in the farms he would rather spend his time in his room drawing or painting. Theodore was always a pretty shy person but he discovered that he was a pretty good leader later in his years, on his seventeenth birthday he left his home bidding goodbye to a pair of crying adults. He had told them he had gone to get a job and start a family but in reality he just wanted to relax and maybe even start a career as an artist in the busy streets of the city. At this time he received word that his brother two years his senior was drafted into the army during a sweep of his hometown.
At first he roamed around aimlessly looking for any job he could find, he worked as a newspaper delivery- man for most of the time. He got up to date with the current news and he knew what was happening in the world other than most people around his wealth status. He knew he was going to be forcefully drafted too so he got himself a job as a propaganda artist, hoping that since he has a job in the government he would be spared by the army drafts. Theodore managed to stay out of the radar for a long time working in his office. It was not that he didn't want to it, it was just that he was scared. He was never the one to be violent and preferred tricking someone over sheer brutality which was also understandable looking at him frail frame.
Finally when he too was twenty he went back to visit his hometown, he found out devastating news his father was gravely ill and he found out his brother had died in a battle a few months back and his family was trying to reach him but they couldn't. Confused and scared and not knowing what to do Theodore went and applied for the army. He barely survived basic training and he was also given specialty training and put in a special division in France, he also started his military career as an Corporal due to his speciality training. He earned his promotion to a Staff Seageant after a brave but failed attempt to protect a French town. Although America wasn't involved in the war officially at that time he was send as reinforcement to the British who in turn send his platoon to France. He survived barely three battles defending the hopeless French borders which after it fell he was sent back to American soil. This is where he achieved his position as Staff Sergeant which Theodore suspected was just a ploy to encourage him since he was deployed again into mainland Europe a month before his actual deployment date.
Theodore managed to avoid being sent into conflict for a few months due to his platoon leader being sent home with two broken legs and because of such chaos a replacement was not found in due time which lead to them being stationed in a small town in Denmark where he was moved out to a different location just before Nazi-Germany took over the nearby countries; When the second world war was fully begun and the force which Theodore marched alongside was part of many failed operations into enemy territory often returning back without even harming the enemy. After that he returned back to America to have special training as a paratrooper where he did many jumps back into eastern europe where he received many jump wins and was promoted to First Sergeant.
The First Sergeant enjoyed slight victories but his promotions stopped there as he got less military action than before. Theodore tried his best to reach the effort that the CO was looking for. Theodore skipped his second leave to go to a paratrooper training field where he instructed to new recruits, he was happy there seeing new faces. He was finally called back to the front lines where he was finally awarded the rank of 2nd. Lieutenant but unfortunately his old platoon was disbanded, which led to him joining another division where he served as a 2nd lieutenant proudly.

He leaned against the grass hoping that they would be one element. Breathing hard didn't make anything any better. Thinking like a snake he slithered which looked more like crawling, he moved over to the tree near him. He was supposed to be dropped into the town which was going to be taken over in about an hour, at least he hoped. He realized he was on the mountainous area beside it after some exploration, he checked for his M1 Garand rifle as he crouched up to see the town in the distance. It was big but isolated like none other. Only patrols ran form side to side, seems more like a training camp than a small town in the countryside. It struck him like a punch to his face, He spun his head around looking for the one thing he wanted most right now, where has his private?
Frustrated he looked around trying to remain quiet as possible, he looked to his far left to see the man camouflaged into the grass, the only thing sticking next to him was the big black box next to him. He crouched over to the man, it was not like they could see Theodore from the guard posts around the town but he knew a searchlight would surely get him. He checked if the Private was living or not first. He was alive alright his chest pounding was enough to reassure that. Theodore hoped that a search party wouldn't come out. He slapped the man a few times. He woke up with a cough. A searchlight popped up beside him making him prone with his hand over the man's mouth.
Did that German see me? Why didn't he shoot me? I'm sure he saw me! What if he's coming back?!
Theodore looked back at the town after a few silent seconds to see that everything was the same way it was. He went into a crouch position again this time the private followed him without question to the cover fo the tree. Theodore motioned him to start up the radio, the slight beeping sound perfectly blended in with the night sounds. He motioned him with his fingers to start up the connection and he passed him the hand-held which he waited patiently. The objective was to overrun the village as soon as possible. It was because his platoon had been behind enemy line for days and after a radio call he was forced to take the town while coming, atleast he was getting air support. If it goes as planned an infantry unit was supposed to run into the city through the area where Theodore is observing which would be followed by an air strike into the town. It was easy as pie, at least he hoped.
This is Theodore Brown, I got a clear view of the target, air strike to be delivered in 0:15 minutes, I repeat 0:30 minutes. Platoon engaging target immediately.
He searched inside his pockets and reached for the little gun he valued the flare pistol. He raised it to the sky hoping that the platoon hidden in the shadows nearby would notice his signal, holding his breathe and pointing it to the sky and with a hard breathe pulled the trigger.
German searchlights spawned the area and machine-guns went off blankly at the spot where the flare was fired, Grabbing the private he glided down the part where the American troops were trying to breach the walls. He arrived there as fast as he could nearly stumbling while running down the slope. He couldn't stop his run so he did what was sensible he fell back on himself on his own before he hit something. His back was covered in mud but it didn't stop him. He saw that the private was limping towards the fellow men. He knew the Germans were going be everywhere soon, Theodore went their and shouted for the man with the explosives. He ordered him to plant the explosives while he ordered his men to run back leaving only him and the demolitions expert left.
Patience was something Theodore lacked at the moment. He was mumbling to himself every second. When he was done Theodore shouted for him to follow him and back with the rest of the troops where they hid as he saw the bomber jets fly over the small town to end this quickly. They all knew they could take this town by force soon but it wasn't worth it, time was important reinforcements would arrive in minutes and the ammunition's depot inside the town was going to make things harder.
Theodore's thought of being prepared quickly left him as more important things came into his mind. The beautiful fireworks were soon going to explode. Men, get ready for one heck of a night.
