Character History:
One warm August day in the small Pennsylvania town of Dunmore, a beautiful woman arrived at the local hospital, in labor. She was rushed quickly to one of the birthing rooms, and soon gave birth to two crying twin boys. With the help of a frantic father running his hands through his brown hair, the weepy couple decided on the best names to give their newborn angels: Jamie-Todd and Alexander.
The mother and father where Henrietta and Ray Peterson, a happy couple living in the prestigious part of Dunmore. Henrietta was a beautiful housewife who was kind but uneducated. Ray was a handsome, intelligent young businessman and veteran of the Great War. He had lost all of his toes on his left foot and a chunk of his right calf from a disastrous raid on a German trench in Belgium, and was mildly Shell-shocked, jumping at any sound louder than conversation tone.
When Jamie-Todd and Alexander arrived, Henrietta devoted all of her time to young “Alex”. She had an immediate taking for his taste for adventure that started to show as soon as he developed into a teetering toddler. But Jamie-Todd never liked going outside with Alex, he preferred staying inside and playing with blocks and spending time with his father, Ray.
When it came time to send the twins into school, their parents packed them up and sent them off to the local Elementary School. Alex was a terrible student from day one, but a fantastic athlete. Jamie-Todd was an excellent student, but was teased often for being a “Brainer” and not being involved in any sports. It was tough for the student, but he kept in mind his newfound dream of being an architect. Ray was fully supportive of Jamie, giving him extra lessons at home.
High school was not much different. Alex was the quarterback of the football team, but flunked out before he could graduate. Jamie was much more successful, completing High School, and was looking at his dream: Collage. The same year Alex joined the US Navy, Jamie enrolled in the University of Philadelphia, studying Architecture. He was becoming an extremely influential student in Philadelphia, and in his junior year helped design a statue of Benjamin Franklin in the University garden. Meanwhile, Alex was working through the ranks of the Navy, serving as a gunner on the USS Arizona.
Then came December 7th, 1941. Japanese Zero Fighters bombed the USS Arizona where it was docked at Pearl Harbor. Alex fought bravely against the invading Japanese, but the Arizona sank and Alex went down with the ship. His broken body was found floating in the shallow water, and the Petersons had their funeral. Jamie was livid. As soon as he heard the US had declared war on the Axis powers, Jamie enlisted in the US Army to both avenge his brother and have a chance to prove himself to his peers and his mother.

Scenario: You’re alone behind enemy lines and you get the eerie feeling someone’s watching you. You’re trying to remain quiet, stay low, work your way back to the frontlines - but you can’t help but feel you’re being followed… (How does your character React? What’s running through their mind?)
Pfc. Jamie-Todd Peterson sat in the shallow foxhole, shivering and clutching his M1 Garand with white knuckles. He could hear the Germans muttering to each other, laughing grimly. He knew that they where the ones that had killed Sergeant Brown and the rest of them. He just knew it. “Jamie, what do we do?” Byron asked. “We kill these kraut bastards, By!” James hissed angrily. He knew it was the wrong thing to do. To retreat, To make it back to the field HQ. But at that moment, the Private First Class was so imbued with anger that he needed to get back at the Germans.
“Come on!” Jamie yelled, and hopped out of the foxhole. Pvt. Byron followed behind. For a few seconds, the Germans didn’t even notice them charging at them. Jamie fired three shots from his hip, one connecting and bringing down one of the Germans. But as soon as they turned, Jamie knew it was a bad idea. The Krauts turned, raising their guns and firing through the trees. Byron went down behind him; Jamie could hear the terrible screams. Then the bullets started coming for him. Jamie-Todd turned on his heels and ran, ran as fast as he could. Then the bullet hit.
He could feel it, a burning hole in his calf. He stumbled and went down in the snow, tumbling a few feet before rolling to a stop. He couldn’t help it. He screamed. The pain was just so bad…
Jamie-Todd screamed again and hugged his wounded leg to his calf. "Aw, shit, aw shit..." He said, a tear trickling down his face. He didn't want to die...he was too young...
